They last SUCH a long time, I will say. I went through almost an entire 300-page book highlighting pages upon pages upon PAGES, and only near the last few chapters did one finally dry up, where other highlighters have dried halfway through. They're pretty durable, which I really appreciate. The reasons they're not five stars:- They're not as pastel as I'd like them to be. They're a bit more vibrant, and I wanted actual pastel colors.- I don't love how the label on the pen smears away and leaves ink marks on my fingers. It just feels... cheap? Not a huge deal, but I don't like looking down and seeing half the label transferred to my thumb.- A teeny bit annoying to open. They're shut pretty tight, and they're a hard to use that way. It's no big deal if you don't really care about that or if you don't use them often when reading, but I use highlighters a lot, so I would've liked something easier to manage while I'm reading and not have to force open with both hands.I really do like the pens a lot, I just expected the colors to look like the outside considering Mr. Pen is usually really great with their colors.
