what is the difference between this optic and other Holosun reflex sights? Only asking because there's a generic description with this product

The AEMS reflex sight is designed for long-gun applications with picatinny mount. It offers a larger field of view in a smaller package. It has a 1.1 inch window width compared to the 510 and 512 series reflex sights with .91 width. Its less than half the weight of the 510 & 512 series and over an inch shorter in length. This means you can fit more accessories like magnifiers and iron sights on your receiver. Compared to a traditional 20mm cylindrical micro sight , it has a far superior field of view. The uploaded video compares the field of view and size difference between the AEMS CORE next to an HS515CM micro sight.

What is the difference between this one and the lower priced ‘core’ version? thanks

1, AEMS-211301 has Muti-reticles while the Core version has single dot reticle only. 2, AEMS-211301 has dual power(Battery and Solar power) while the Core version has battery power only. 3, AEMS-211301 comes with the transparent Flip-down Len Covers, the core version does not.

Does this item have any export limitations? Do I need a license to travel abroad with it?

You need to check with the country you are traveling too

Is this a holographic sight like eotech is?

No, it's a reflex sight, not a holographic.
