AMEROUS High Polymer Weighted Chess Pieces with 4.25'' King - 2 Extra Queens - Gift Package, Standard Tournament Chessmen for Chess Board or Replacement of Missing Pieces (Chess Pieces Only)

Looked around for a solid, heavy, nicely polished set of chess pieces, and finally stumbled upon these. I was a bit hesitant to purchase it, but once they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice they were. The presentation is delightfully appropriate and premium. One thing to note is the box is rather large - considering the pieces are fairly big too. Just as in the photos, they do "shine" as well. I must say that they are in fact weighted - just the right amount I was hoping for. Each piece comes with a nice felt at the bottom, and their own little cut out within the box so you can store them there after a game or safely move them about. All in all, if you're looking for a quality set of chess pieces to add to your collection or combine with your board, they'll make an excellent addition. For the player that wants to add heft and that extra " oomph" to their games.

This is a beautiful chess set ,it’s to bad it didn’t come with a chessboard . All in all l am happy to have it .

Nice weight to these pieces, and very nice quality. Like the larger size. They fit well on my 21"by 21" silicone chess mat.

Very nice quality pieces. Got it for my son for Christmas. The pieces fit great on the square and stay in place. Would highly recommend if you want your board to look like quality pieces.

I really love the look and feel of these pieces, and couldn't be happier with my purchase. It really makes it so much more enjoyable to play with a set like this. I originally paired them with a board with 2" squares but the pieces felt a little cramped so I ended up getting a board with 2.25" squares. I think either one would work but I prefer the latter. The reason I only give it four stars is that one of the bishops had a loose weight in it which caused it to rattle. I was able to fix it by removing the felt and putting a little super glue in a tiny hole on the bottom. Not sure if this would work in every situation since the weights are sealed inside the pieces, but it worked for me.

They are a great every day set of chess pieces. they will stand up to lots of use and abuse.

This item was as expected, but... ...and I did not take off for this because I have no intention on storing this or moving around, the storage box is hard to use, though it works better than those cheap bags. The box is so snug it is hard to get the pieces out. Once i did, I have no intention on putting them back. This is a great item, and at first, I was concerned about getting pieces that were not wood, but these are perfectly balanced, and they look like they will last. I even dropped one, and it did not scrape or break. It's worth the price -though I don't know what the price will be when you read this

These pieces look awesome. For the price, you’re not getting any better. Good weight, and looks great. Highly recommend

Otima qualidade das peças . Dá muito mais emoção jogar

Amazing quality. They are large as expected and the box and the cards inside indicated how much this company cares for the customers. Highly recommended.

Very good quality good weight and very happy with the item.
