This lamp is awesome! Initially, I was hesitant to purchase because it doesn't fit my aesthetic, like, at all. But as it was on sale and intrigued me, and my son needs some more light in his room, I decided to get it for him. I thought he would love the ability to change the colors, even if the lamp itself looks a little weird.As soon as I started putting it together, my opinion changed. It is high quality, straightforward, and seamless (don't tighten the screws until you've placed them all for the section you are working on, because with a little patience and deliberation it is possible to get the pieces to line up PERFECTLY). The construction is very sturdy, the gold finish I opted for is elegant, and the design is minimal and unobtrusive. The app is very user friendly and has endless possibilities for light configurations.My 5 year old son was so excited. After placing it in his new room and playing around on the app for a few, he selected "Dance" mode and we had a celebratory dance party. ☺️ Then we switched to the nightlight setting, which is 👌 just right, and he snuggled into bed a very happy boy.Now I just hope this lamp goes on sale again sometime so I can buy at least 2 more for the main room of our apartment.

I ordered this back in December, and honestly, it's been a fantastic addition to my space. I acutally ordered 3 more!The best part is how minimalist it is. It tucks perfectly into the corner without taking up any real floor space, and the sleek design looks clean even when the light is off. Putting it together was actually really simple—you just attach the pole segments and slide the LED strip in. Getting it connected to the Wi-Fi and the smart app took almost no time at all without any frustrating connection drops.The lighting itself is super impressive. It gets surprisingly bright at 1000 lumens, and the colors are incredibly rich and vibrant. The app gives you a ton of different dynamic scenes and customization options to play around with, but my favorite thing is just being able to use voice commands to easily turn it on and off from the couch. The music sync feature is also a really fun touch for when you have company over or want to change up the energy in the room.If you're on the fence about getting one or looking for an easy way to change the vibe of a room, just do it. It works flawlessly, the app is great, and it looks amazing. Highly recommend!

Absolute game changer for bedroom/HT setup! Soo many options to diy your own colors, music works great. App works great! Ended up buying another one of these as well as the tv backlight. I kept the 2nd lamp light but had to send back the camera based tv backlight because the camera DOES NOT fit/mount on top of the 77Z8BA Panasonic OLED tv!! I wanted it to work so much but ended up returning the 75-85” tv backlight.***please read!! I tried to save a few bucks and signed up on Govees corporate website. Not only was I charged almost $8 for a currency exchange fee, but the return process (which I had to pay for $32) was a nightmare!! It woulda been cheaper and faster to buy on Amazon than thru Govee direct! After 2 weeks of back forth, they finally refunded me the full amount of the backlight 3 pro and for one of the lamp lights that was able to keep. However, the process was a nightmare and I never got refunded the $8 currency exchange fee! Unless you plan on keeping the Govee product no matter what, I strongly recommend buying from Amazon over the direct store****Btw. The only reason I got started with Govee was to include the tv backlight controller for the 2 lamp lights, but at $280 for the hdmi backlight controller plus my experience with their direct store return process, I haven’t purchased it yet.Overall, I absolutely LOVE the lamp light basic. I highly recommend them! However, they aren’t as cool with out the ability to integrate them into a tv backlight controller. Either way, they are miles better than basic led light strips!

Love this! I always have it on when in the living room. We have no overhead lighting here, so I have various lights to attempt to light up our living space. This is great mood lighting. Very customizable. I made all kinds of different color schemes, Star Wars, sunsets, etc. Super cool, fun, and cozy.

This lamp was a great addition to my room. It gives off a lot more light than I expected and the RGB colors make my setup look way better at night. I read through some of the complaints about this light after seeing that it was "frequently returned" and I didn't have any of the issues listed myself. My light was quick and easy to put together, it stands straight and is as sturdy as expected. It also gives off great light. I mainly use it to add some color to my walls like in the pictures and I'm satisfied with how it looks standing right against the wall. I also used it to brighten up my office earlier while putting together a new desk and it was more than bright enough. The app. for these products could be a little better but I find it easy enough to navigate.
