Perfect way to bring Scotland to your home!
This incense croft is just adorable! I purchased it as a gift for my husband to have the scent of Scotland while having a wee dram with friends. It's so cute, works great and is great quality. Cute
Took a while to light and doesn't burn long but did make the whole house smell despite small size. Smells like a wood burning stove to me.

Won't stay lit
The cottage is adorable with the smoke coming out the chimney. For a couple of minutes. The peat just won't stay lit.

Hard to light.
The house is really cute and a great little piece. Unfortunately, the sod is entirely too difficult to keep lit. It keeps going out and I can't get it too hot with a normal long necked lighter.

Just like visiting Islay!
If it seems silly that's because... it's a little silly. Having said that, the smell of burning peat really DOES bring me back to Islay, and it's a very nice complement to an evening of drinking single malt scotch.You may want to ensure you put this on a good solid surface - I was a little worried about small pieces of burning peat landing on the carpet (when I would gently blow on the peat to get it burning), but putting it on a table with a ceramic coaster underneath it solved that issue.
