Safety for all your heat generating appliances!
These highly visible outlet switches are super handy and remind me of the ones they have in the UK that are built into all wall outlets. They are rated at the maximum current you require on a 15 amp circuit so I use them to insure safety with high wattage kitchen appliances as well as lamps that don't have a built in switch. They are readily visible so you don't forget to turn off power to your toaster, electric kettle, air fryer, etc. You also won't wear out your outlets by unplugging your heat generating appliances after each use. Highly recommended for safety and convenience in your home!

Very Nice
This is the proverbial cats meow if you want a switch for an electrical cord. It is way more convenient than having to unplug a cord. It is rated for 15A and 1875W. I use it mainly for lights or fans. It works the same as a light switch on the wall. I have had no issues with its durability and I use three. I recommend it.

Good for tea kettle
I use this outlet for my tea kettle, so I do not need to unplug the kettle after every use. I like that the outlet still let me use the outlet below this adapter. I have not used it long enough to decide whether there is an energy advantage. There is an ease of use advantage.

Works fine, but was slightly larger than I expected. However it still left enough room for the other receptacle to be used. I'm glad it has a lighted switch when turned on.
