Great for the kiddo.. Makes parents crazy haha
My daughter is obsessed with toys that can repeat what you say, so these little live pets obviously are perfect for that purpose. We got one a while ago at another store and to my daughter's dismay and our shameful Joy, it stopped working so we returned it and when her birthday came up she asked for something similar. I am a sucker and a glutton for punishment so we got this little birdie and she just loves it. She thinks it's hilarious that it will say anything she says, and you bet that some of the stuff she makes it say is quite interesting... And it repeats exactly as you expect it to, and tweets and makes little movements and makes parents crazy. Just kidding. It's not that bad. My kiddo enjoys it and I enjoy that she gets such a big kick out of it. We haven't had any issues with this one. It works fine and the battery seems to be keeping up. It's cute and fun.

Great fun little toy and shipping
Searched everywhere for the dark pink one as my niece had the other pink. Got here fast and was packed well and arrived in great condition.

Broke after 2 days, then broke after 5 days
We bought one from TJ Maxx and it broke after 2 days. Thought maybe we got a dud, so we bought one on Amazon. Also broke after about 5 days. My daughter treated it like a true pet and was very gentle with both of them. Tried 2 sets of AAA batteries on both occasions but no luck. This is an amazing toy but it is clearly not built to last

DO NOT BUY unless you want to ruin your day
This toy DOES NOT COME WITH BATTERIES. ?????? The screw is TINY, not a standard size by any means, and requires 2 AA batteries, for which the compartment is a massive pain to put back together after searching your house for both a tiny screwdriver AND AA batteries. The actual toy is fine, but the fact that it does not work until significant amount of work by YOU is RIDICULOUS.

Cheap
My granddaughter received this from her aunt for Christmas. I tried to put batteries in it but the screw was apparently stripped. It just turns and turns but never comes out. My granddaughter is VERY disappointed!
