1-1/2" Thick - 9" to 11" Wide Bicycle Seat Cover / Gel Pad - Medium

After reading other reviews, I ordered this pad with lowered expectations. The pad has easily exceeded them. I'm so grateful I found it. I have searched for several months to a solution to my saddle sores and general aching (which stem from general fat loss in my derrière) when I ride my bike for more than 20-30 minutes. I've tried 4 different bike seats, including the Cloud 9 bike seat. None of them worked well although I did find significant improvement with the Schwinn Extra Wide Saddle Seat: [...] But even this seat left me feeling sore after 30 minutes. It wasn't until I rode with this gel pad atop the Schwinn wide seat that I realized I had found what I really needed. The pad is just right in thickness for my needs and the slight "gelly" feel to it probably helps prevent the saddle sores that I got from my butt bones grinding against the base of the bike seat. I sometimes ride with the pad untethered to the seat. It has a non-skid bottom and so it won't move around while I'm riding. That way I can easily transfer the pad onto a park bench or a wooden church pew when I arrive at my destination. It really helps in those situations too. Tonight I took my long trip of 2 hours. I have no saddle sores or discomfort of any kind. I really love this thing.

Well-made, fits perfectly on my exercise bike. Only problem is that it does very little to relieve my coccyx pain, which is why I bought it in the first place. Better than nothing, but not really.

This is just an okay product for me. I needed it for a stationary bike and it still kills my back so the seat just isn't as thick as I would have thought. I didn't return it because it was an improvement over the concrete seat on my Stationary bike. Just keep your expectations low and maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised.

It's certainly thick, and it fits the seat perfectly, might have been made just for that model of exercise bike (Marcy magnetic). I couldn't force it to slip out of place if I tried. It's not quite as soft as I hoped it would be. The seat still gets uncomfortable for the length of time that I use the bike (a LOT). I'm not sure what type of padding or shape of seat really would be ideal. But this seat cover is precisely as described as a product.

I find that I don't even ride my bike anymore . this is so uncomfortable.. it actually makes your butt hurt to sit on it for long.. and it does slide way to the front so doesn't fit the seat very well either.. I would not recommend it..

My brother loves this seat. It is on top of our Pedego deluxe seat. I got it for my female anatomy and it did not offer a change from that same seat for me. It just raised me higher. He says it solved his problem. It is a very quality cover and fastens tightly.

1-1/2" Thick - 9" to 11" Wide Bicycle Seat Cover / Gel Pad - Medium This Bicycle Seat Cover is too narrow/hard for the human butt. I called the company to ask if they had a larger/softer seat. They said no. I went to Wal-Mart and purchased a Travel Neck Pillow and taped it to the seat to protect my butt from the hurt and pain caused by this tiny/hard seat. Taping the Travel Neck Pillow to the Bicycle Seat Cover allowed me to use the Stationary Bike long enough to get the needed exercise.

This makes my 30 minute stationary bike exercises far less excruciating and eliminated most of the rump-weariness. It was easy to install and stays in place snugly. Great product.
