Great help.

I like the easy to read concept and sense of humor in the text

Purchased to help granddaughter with her geometry in year 8. So far so good. Explanations are fine. Typical For Dummies text

This is a perfect book to touch up my skills.

If you want to learn Geometry then I recommend starting with this book. The only mild criticism I have is the author presumes a background in Algebra, which you should have, I wish he would've gone into more detail with algebraic side of the problem. This would've made following the problems a little easier. I still got a lot of work to do with Triangles, but I'm better off than where I started thanks to this book.😀

Not what I expected. I purchased for my son who is in geometry this year and I feel like there could be a lot better options. It doesn't seem to follow exactly where he is at in school and is not going to be used as much as I expected.... Probably not at all.

This book will definitely help with Geometry. Seeing how I definitely needed a refresher to help my son with his homework I was very pleased. Also he can use it to help with homework and as a study aid.

Got this for my son to help him with Geometry because whenever we would look online for help with a specific type of problem - the CORRECT help ALWAYS came from the Dummies Book - so I figured I would just get it for him to have on had even when he does not have internet.

Great for brushing up on various area formulas.

Not sure if I got unlucky but the print quality is extremely poor and the words are not readable.

I just love these "for Dummies" books! This one brought me memories from school and high school. A great refresher on the Geometry subject.

I really like this book. I have looked for a geometry book a few times: it was the only part of maths I really enjoyed at school nearly fifty years ago. I loved the problem solving and the elements of pattern and shape that are involved: I was looking for a little bit of mental gymnastics to keep the brain cells firing. And this book fits the bill perfectly. If I knew or remembered nothing about the subject, then I think this might be a bit of a struggle, so I definitely don't think this is for the complete novice, but the knowledge and skills level is not incredibly high, certainly not aimed at an A' level ability that one reviewer has implied. It is clear despite one or two style glitches one experiences with US textbooks, but that's not a problem. Elements of the subject are introduced appropriately and with plenty of examples and there is definitely a sense of building one's knowledge and skills base. As a former teacher, though not of maths and science, I would certainly recommend this to anyone with a little basic mathematical awareness needing support with their maths at GCSE level. And as a 'fun' stimulus for anyone else! I'm sorely tempted to get the workbook!
