Buy in Lidl
Brilliant device. However if you buy in Lidl you can get it with a separate 4amp battery for £50. Seller is taking the piss.

Arrived with broken disc
Arrived promptly but disc was broken. Accompanying manual was in several European languages - none of them English.

Aukward switch.
Locking button to change discs extremely difficult to engage and hold on.

Angle grinder works fine .

only lasted a few hours
Used for a few hours cutting light corrugated roofing tin. Stopped working. Unfortunately I didn't use the grinder until 2 months after i bought it so it was not covered by returns. Should have spend a few more £ and bought a better brand.

Brilliant bit of kit for DIY – great value for money
I’ve been using this Parkside grinder for a while now and I’m honestly really impressed with it, especially for the price. First thing that stands out is how convenient it is being cordless. No messing about with extension leads – you can just grab it and get straight to work, whether you’re in the garage or outside. It runs on the Parkside X20V battery system, which is great if you already have other tools in the range. Power-wise, it’s more than capable for most DIY jobs. I’ve used it for cutting metal, cleaning up welds, and even a bit of masonry work, and it handles it all without any issues. It’s not a heavy-duty industrial tool, but for home use it’s spot on. Build quality is solid too. It feels sturdy in the hand, with a nice grip and good balance. The adjustable guard and side handle make it easy to control, and changing discs is straightforward thanks to the spindle lock. Battery life is decent as well (depending on what you’re doing), and because it’s part of the 20V system you can swap batteries if needed. Overall, this is a great value tool that punches above its price. Perfect for DIYers or anyone who wants a reliable cordless grinder without spending a fortune. Definitely recommend 👍

Broken cutting disc
I love parkside however this grinder arrived sealed but with a broken cutting disc attached luckily I had more,

Confusion, no mention of the product not being backward Compatible with old batteries and chargers.
I have already a set of parkside tools so assume backwards compatibility with old batteries and chargers but no compatibility so I should not have bought a bare angle grinder. Come on neither seller or Amazon being criticised but issues please note and address!👍
