Great dashcam, terrible app. Picture quality is very clear and looks sleek in the car. I just wish the app was easier to navigate, connect to, and be able to retrieve my files easily. It’s a shame to spend this much money on this device that relies heavily on the app that doesn’t even respond half the time.

This is a solid complement to your Escort Passport radar detector. It offers excellent audio and video quality, and when left plugged into most newer vehicles, it will activate with motion detection—instantly recording audio and video. If the vehicle is bumped while parked, it can also record, though this feature depends on your vehicle’s capabilities.Installation is very straightforward, and the build quality is good. Keep in mind that this only functions as a companion device to an existing compatible Passport detector, so be sure to check compatibility before purchasing.Functionally, I’ve found accessing and reviewing recorded video to be a bit slow and cumbersome. That said, I really appreciate the auto-loop feature: when the memory card is full, it continues recording by overwriting the oldest footage unless you insert a new card or clear space.One standout feature to me is the inclusion of a time/date stamp and vehicle speed overlay on the video—very useful if you ever need to defend yourself in court.Overall, I’m satisfied with the purchase and would recommend it if you already have a compatible Passport detector. When I got it mounted along side redline 360 c I was so happy with the way it looked and fit in my ride. I got the blendmount and mounted both the camera and the radar together below my mirror and it worked great until the memory card was full, after it got full it prompted me to reformat memory card. It kept telling me to reformat memory card everytime I turned the vehicle back on. Before card got full it lasted about a week going back and forth to work then all of a sudden it started going off with "car protected alert" and need to "format card memory full" But when I go to the app to reformat card it would show on app there was alot more memory left. But i would reformat it anyway everyday for about a week because I wanted to keep it. But I couldn't get past the ongoing alert daily. I even called the company directly and seemingly they knew already about the issue. They never did say we are working to correct it. Or there is another update coming out soon. Instead they gave me an explanation to dummy down the camera to another level but it still kept alerting me to format memory card everytime I started vehicle and it also kept saying car protected every 45 seconds. Hope they fix it sooner then later. As of now I'm returning it and will be looking for another camera unfortunately :(

Is it necessary to tell me over and over and over again every 2 seconds to format the SD card? Once every 30-60 seconds is more than enough. Took awhile to get the app connected and was forced to listen to this constantly until it was formatted. It then did the same annoying thing when I didn't have an SD card inserted. It's also difficult to get the SD card to eject. You almost need a small plastic tool or something. Quaity otherwise seems fine. It connects to the mount. An option to connect to the radar detector would be nice. I don't like to leave things visible for theives and I don't have anything hardwired. So I have to pull the whole mount off the windshield to take the camera down.

gonna give it 5 stars even though i couldn't use it.the mount isn't compatible with the clamp that mounts to the rear view mirror..only if you're using the windshield suction cup.

That's absolutely amazing, the best thing that Escort could've ever made. Amazing picture quality ans price is reasonable for that product. I would recommend that to everyone.

Great camera if you have a compatible Escort detector.Only 1080p though. Would like to see an updated 4K version.Runs great with our without the detector. Uses a shared power supply cable.Ideally you would want to hardwire it into a constant power source.

Camera is easy to install and use. When checking the data it's also very easy to zero in on specific segments.
