OK sorry to be so lame but i'm confused. Does the super powere pack come with 12AAs 4AAAs and the 2D & 2Cs. Or what???

It comes with 12 AA batteries and 4 AAA batteries and a charger that will charge up to 4 batteries at a time. You can charge less than 4 at a time and you can charge any mix of AA or AAA for a total of 4 on the charger at one time. Takes something like 4 to 6 hours to charge. When one or more batteries reaches full charged, you can remove the ones that are fully charged and fill those slots with more than need charging, while the ones still not fully charged continue to charge. There are no C or D batteries in this kit. I don't think anyone sells C or D rechargeable batteries anywhere. This kit comes with 2 "D" plastic adapters you can put an "AA" battery into each and use it say in an old flashlight that uses D batteries. You have to remove the AA batteries from the adapter when you re-charge them in the charger. It also comes with 2 "C" plastic adapters that you put an AA battery into each to power devices that use C batteries. The plastic adapters are reusable and with care (don't step on them) can last just about forever. I would think of this kit as having 12 AA and 4 AAA batteries and a charger to charge them. I personally think of the plastic C and D adapters as a nice bonus that I may or may never use.

How many AA batteries can you charge at one time using this charger?

1, 2, 3, or 4. Any combination of AA's and AAA's. Each of the 4 slots is completely independent from the others. You can insert or remove cells from any slot at any time without messing up the charging of the others.

I currently have alkaline batteries that don't last, but cost me about $0.20 each. Is there a comparison for a AAA eneloop? 3 alks last 28 days vs?

I've been using them in higher powered devices where standard namebrand alkalines like Duracells or Energizers last about 2-3 days. My 5 year old Enloops with 1900mAh rating still last about 2-3 days as well. They probably last 85% as long as a standard battery now, however, I've been using this same set of 8 and burning through their charges several times a month each at least for, as I said, 5 years. I think the long term cost has been less than a penny per use considering at the time the similar kit was about $25.
