Great for the bad days if you have a lower lumbar herniated disc
I have an L5 S1 herniated disc and this works great for my bad days. I definitely would have gotten a size up, I wear an XL shirt so probably should’ve gotten the XL. I took the piece for back support out because it gets very sweaty very fast and doesn’t sit on my back quite right and is difficult to sit with which is when I have the most pain. I took that off and used a flimsy mcdavid sportmed brace underneath to protect my skin because it can be uncomfortable and unattractive as I’m overweight and it makes what chub I have go over the top and just looks weird. Overall a great product just wish the material was softer!

Works great
Just got L3/L4 lumbar fusion 4 weeks ago. Tried to use the completely rigid brace the doctor prescribed but it was very uncomfortable and caused more pain than relief. So I never wore it at home and avoided leaving the house. Got this one yesterday and it’s great. I have worn it for 6 hours each day and it gives relief and support right where I need it. The adjustable straps work well. I recommend it.

Worked great!
I needed a back brace for post back surgery and this one was recommended to be as my copay was going to be $540 for a similar one. No thanks on that as this one was easy to use

Supportive comfortable
On third one over a few years. Provides good support for lower lumbar vertebrae.Equivalent to one given at physical therapy. Comfortable Only issue is not to lay down on hard surfaces with it since plastic has tendency to crack.

Pulley system is genius!
I found this for my husband who has back issues. He didn’t think he wanted the solid plastic piece but I nagged him into trying it finally. He doesn’t mind the solid piece and is finding the pulley system really helpful! It means you can tighten or loosen it with the pulley instead of undoing the big Velcro ends and trying to get them stuck at the right spot. The pulley strings look a little delicate but may be more rugged than they look. Time will tell about that but the first few days have been really good. Since the hard plastic piece can be removed or repositioned, there are way more options with this brace than any others I’ve seen. I’d recommend giving it a try.
