Saves time and good value for the price...
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Love this set! Has 12 sizes and good quality materials. Easy to use and for the price it's worth it because I'm tired of borrowing or renting tools to remove tie rods.

Don’t Buy, Design Flaws!!!
Don’t buy!!!! Because of manufacturing issues the crows feet that come with this, don’t even fit inside the tube. If you buy it you will have to take a grinder and shave the edges of all of the crows feet/adapters because they are too big to fit inside the tool. Not worth the risk, but from another source!!!

it worked
it worked for what i needed it for but the tube is a bit small , did not fit the knuckle on a 98 lumina , factory inner tie rod, will not fit in to be able to lock the ring but still got the job done so gets a 4 star rating

Worked for my 2020 Subaru Forester
I used this on my 2020 Subaru Forester to replace a bent inner tie rod end. I was concerned after reading some of the other reviews here, but the tool fit fine in my case. For my car, I used one of the smallest adapters 1 3/16". You do have to put the proper adapter on the tie rod end first, then slide the tool over the tie rod bar into the adapter, and turn the metal clip to lock the adapter into place. The head of the tool can fit any of the width sizes of a tie rod head, but the pipe part is exactly 1 1/2" wide and the head can only accommodate a 1/2" deep tie rod head wider than 1 1/2". So if your tie rod head is no more than 1/2" from the base to the groove for the wrench, OR it is under 1 1/2" wide, then this tool will work.My tie rod was so bent that I couldn't use the tool to remove the old one because it wasn't straight enough to fit in the tube - so I ended up using a pipe wrench for that. But the tool worked great for tightening the new one with my 1/2" drive torque wrench.
