It's nice enough for adults who don't want 'college furniture' but I think it would be fabulous for kids and all of their stuff or a young adult starting out. It's just so functional that I think anyone can appreciate it. I could see filling it with some essentials and giving as a gift for graduations, housewarmings, and such.
