OtterBox for Apple iPhone 13 Pro, Superior Rugged Protective Case with MagSafe, Defender XT Series, Black

I love the security and usability of this new “otter box defender XT” series!!! It’s magnet works just as strong as the phone does without, it may be tough to get it in, which is what I love most about this thing, but I know this thing is going to take great care of my $1,100 investment 🙏… I’ve never seen an otterbox that has one plastic case and one rubber shield, it’s always been the “snap the two in and then put the rubber case around the whole thing”. Now you place the phone in there and try to work the pretty slim plastic piece to encase into the rubber outside shell. It’s pretty tough without some pointy tools but very well worth it!!! Just wish it came with the holster like all the other defender series I’ve ever gotten 😞. Ohh well I’ll prob be purchasing one of those things too and leave another awesome review like this one lol!!

Got this for 12 yr old son and he hasn’t broken it or his phone yet. Note, he uses his phone for catch because he’s an… yeah.

Didn’t know if the back of the case was too slippery, but found out after using that it is perfect.

It is sad that the quality of the otter box cases have gone down. The charging port protection broke after 5 months. It is mostly plastic and does not have the adherence to surfaces like it used to before. Hopefully otterbox will change their next version

Very disappointed in the new "Defender" case from Otterbox. The version I had for my iPhone XS was chunky, tough and had a rubbery texture that made it almost impossible for the phone to slip out of my hand. This new version is slimline and feels as flimsy as a £5 case from a market stall. It does not feel like a premium £35+ product. But worst of all, it appears to be made of a hard, smooth plastic, it's like holding a greased eel!. Place the phone on anything other than a dead flat surface and it slides. This is exacerbated by the design decision to put a "fence" around the camera cluster. this sits several mm higher than the case body and greatly reduces the contact area with the case body and the surface it sits on.The overall impression is cheap, flimsy and slippery. I'm already looking for a replacement.

As others have said, this is quite thin compared to other ‘defender’ models in the past so I’m yet to see how this holds up longterm, however, it feels nice in hand and has the magsafe compatibility, useful for the various add-on’s Apple produce and car mounts etc.I wasn’t sure if this was compatible with glass screen protectors and scoured the internet in hope of an answer without joy; took a chance and ordered the case anyway - it fits fine around the protector I have on the moment (run of the mill cheapish matte one off Amazon) so I’m happy.Only just put the case on so will update with any other points as and when if relevant.Overall I’m happy. At the price, I just hope it holds up to the quality of previous models.

This phone case does NOT protect your phone. Each time I drop my phone, it breaks even more which doesn’t even seem possible. Not worth the money, it’s a scam. Picture shoes damage of the phone underneath the case. This case doesn’t protect your phone backing whatsoever. get the rhino shield cases instead.

It looks like it offers excellent protection being on the hefty side. Buttons are still clicky and responsive. I love the grippy sides that gives me a secure feeling when grabbing/holding the phone. Also has a small built-in hole for adding a wristlet or lanyard.

Came scratched and missing rubber tabs to cover charger port etc like it had been returned and re sealed
