I can't believe what a difference this pillow makes. I am a stomach sleeper and occasionally end up on my back. I would always wake up with aches and pains in my neck and shoulders. I was reading something about pillows and I thought I wonder if this would help, well it did!! For the first time in years I woke up without neck and shoulder pain. I initially tried the 2.75" flat pillow and it was good...but I kept thinking maybe it'd feel even better if it was just a bit thicker, so I kept the first pillow and ordered a second pillow which is 3.25" . All I can say is this is the best thing I've ever done. I fall asleep faster and I sleep through the night. I just can't say enough positive things about this pillow. Love it and just wish I had done it sooner. I just started using the pillow so I can't comment on it's shape retention over the long haul, but I have absolutely no complaints about it! It doesn't seem to retain heat and it keeps it's shape. It is firm but maybe a better description would be firm but comfortable. I never thought a $40 pillow was going to be this good of an investment, but it's an unbelievable value for what it does!!

This pillow is fantastic. It is a little pricier than it maybe needs to be, but I also got it when I needed it rather than waiting on deals. Regardless, it is the perfect pair with my wedge pillow and gives me softness and support without being too high or bulky. My sleep quality is way better with this and I would describe it as squishy rather than fluffy and definitely on the softer side. If you are layering it on a super firm wedge, you need that or at least I needed that. This has transformed my sleep quality, so I do recommend it. It fluffs up in less than an hour if you put it in a no heat dryer tumble cycle like the company suggests. I did not notice any kinds of smells from the stuffing foam and the foam has little vent holes in it probably to distribute airflow evenly and maybe cooling? In any case, I am so happy. I got the 2.75in by the way. It is thin but not the thinnest the company has.

I have been searching for a good pillow for many years. A lot of products were not as promised or didn’t meet needsand either returned or thrown out. More recently, I had been dealing with neck and head pain for a month and nothing would work. I got this pillow about a week ago. After the first night, my issues were gone. So pleased, that I ordered a second one with a smaller height for sleeping on a different surface. 1. There is so much junk information out there for people desperately trying to find the right pillow. They show pictures of spinal alignment that just aren’t realistic. Or they’ll show people or videos with someone holding a pillow up on their shoulder from a seated or standing position saying the pillow needs to fill in that whole space. Just not right. I swear, that many memory foam pillows are designed for men. If a pillow is made of something lofty, like alternative down, then yes for a side sleeper it needs to be higher. But if you’re getting a foam pillow, that isn’t going to sink as much, 5 to 7 inch height is just way too high for The average female. Most phone pillows start at 5 inches, and most contour pillows would require a very long neck to make it over that hump and have your head be straight. I ordered the 4 inch pillow first. It arrived very well packaged with a seal on it showing it is brand new. First pillow I’ve ever received that has had that. Once let out of the wrapping, it started to rebound quickly. I put it in the dryer for 20 minutes on air with no heat and it came out fully expanded. There was very little odor. And what there was dissipated quickly. I did not order the cooling version, but this is gel with ventilation holes. So it’s softer, with faster rebound. I would say it’s medium firm, soft and comfortable, yet firm support. Not a brick. The cover it comes with is about the best I’ve received. I would love to use the pillow with just that cover, however, I need to use allergy covers. I’m female, about 5’5”, with an average frame. I have a lot of spinal issues. This has been a great fit for me. Tips: shoulder should not be on the pillow, if you’re leaning forward, your pillow is likely to short, and if you’re leaning back, it’s likely too high. If your spine seems a line, but your head is tilted up or down, that’s the wrong size. If you are sliding down off your pillow in the night, it is too high. 5 to 7 inches for all side sleepers does not fit many frames. Finally a decent pillow that offers so many options of sizes. I’m happy with the 4”, but well now use for the sofa, which is firmer and my body doesn’t sink in. I’ve now purchased a 3.25 inch which will be perfect for the bed where my body does sink down. Not such a bad pillow. I’ve only had it for a few days, but I’m not waking up with any more tension headaches. I have back and neck problems and get shots up and down my spine. I usually use a contoured pillow, however, within this last year, using my normal pillow that I had bought from my chiropractor, I started getting tension headaches and generally just felt awful after waking up. I thought perhaps my pillow just needed to be replaced, so I bought a new, similar pillow, but end up with the same tension headaches. So, I adjusted to another pillow I had, a Sealy, that was half regular pillow and half memory foam. That worked better, but wasn’t supportive enough. Which brings me to this pillow. I looked at quite a few thinner pillows like this one and ultimately chose this one. The only problem I could ever see being a problem with this, is the material the pillow cover is made from. It looks so thin that I think eventually it’ll get holes, but I’ll worry about that later. I really like this pillow, however, I think I need at least one more layer or two. So, I noticed that they had another pillow that had 5-6 layers together, that you could adjust how you’d like it, so I am buying this and can adjust to how ever many levels I’d like. So, if you’re like me, used to a contour or memory foam pillow, and you were/are looking for something thinner, you’re on the right track, but, you may also need more than one layer. I’d give the other Bluwave memory foam pillow a look, before purchasing. Maybe that’ll help you skip a step, when looking/finding the right new pillow.

I have ordered several thin pillows on my search for a perfect pillow for me. I'm going to rank the ones I bought according to firmness levels so others will have an easier time deciding which is right for them. I have neck issues and sleep on my back and prefer a thinner pillow. Those 5 inch thick pillows don't work for me. I wanted a slim memory foam pillow that was supportive but still soft. I have ordered 4 pillows and an insert from Amazon and wanted to share my opinions and offer my view of firmness of each pillow. The worst part of ordering pillows from Amazon is you have no idea how soft or firm any are in relation to the others. I have purchased the Iwacool 3.6 inch, D Light 3.25 inch, the Bluewave 3.25 inch, and the blissbury 2.6 inch. I also bought a 1 inch LOFE insert. Of the 4 brands, the Iwacool is the firmest. It offers great support but you do not sink into the pillow hardly at all. It is very firm and would be the best pillow for side sleepers. It is comfortable and works good but is a little too firm for me. The blissbury was by far the softest and most giving and didn't offer much support. My head bottomed out on the pillow when I laid on it. In Blissbury's defense, I purchased the 2.6 inch instead of the 3.6 and it was too thin for me. I purchased the 1 inch LOFE insert and it feels better now that it is a little thicker (LOFE insert was soft and supportive and helped keep it from bottoming out). The other two brands are right in the middle of these two. The D light offers more support and is a little firmer than the Bluewave. The Bluewave feels the most comfortable of all the pillows I bought. It feels wonderful on your head, with enough give to make you comfortable without sinking in and bottoming out. The D light was a little bit more supportive but not as soft as the Bluewave. I liked the feel of the Bluewave because it springs back quicker than most memory foam pillows and gives the perfect mix of softness and support. My neck on the other hand, liked the D light the most because of the extra support in the neck area. I will continue to try all of them to see which one works best in the end. Each pillow has a different level of firmness, and I thought it would be helpful to explain the different levels for each brand. The Iwacool is firmest. The D light is next being firm but still soft, for a perfect mix. Then the Bluewave which felt like laying on a cloud, wonderfully soft but not as supportive as the others. The blissbury was the thinnest and weakest and bottomed out pretty easy but would probably be better if the thicker one was ordered.

Omg! I bought these shortly after buying a new memory foam mattress because I forgot my existing pillows were flat the way I worked them to be, but they were getting too old. I got two of these and am using them both every night. Took me a single night to get used to them (had to treat these different than my worn pillows; placement tryouts throughout night 1). But by night 2, I had that down and now I'm just upset I didn't buy pillows like these earlier. They are firm, yet they give and don't fight you when you adjust your arms around them. I'm a side sleeper so I thought maybe these wouldn't be good for me. But I kind of place one of these pillows between my shoulder blade and my neck, and this pillow rocks in providing the perfect amount of space for my broad shoulders. Plus stack them up and they work well for me when watching TV before bed. They hold their shape perfectly, so that's a plus. And they came in very nice packaging; made me feel more important than I am lol. All and all, I feel I got a great value on these pillows. They are quality pillows; haven't washed them yet but I'll be doing that soon and am not expecting any issues with removing the outer cases and washing them. Time will tell on that though.

I purchased the thinner one after my spine surgery on my neck and it worked nicely, other than the odor that is very difficult to get rid of, and it is worse with this thicker pillow. Now that I have healed a year later, I wanted to get a thicker one since I keep folding my older one in half. They are well made, but there is something about this one that has no support. It feels thinner than my old one once I lay my head on it. Makes no sense how this one is much thicker than my older one yet get less support. Guessing it's too soft, for me. I have purchased so many pillows over the last few years due to my severe arthritis and surgeries in my spine. So tired of purchasing items that promise something and don't come through.

I have two of these pillows...one for my head and one for between my knees when I sleep on my side. I like that they aren't too thick and are super comfortable. I use it with a satin pillowcase for extra comfort. The pillows had a foam smell in the beginning but it went away after about a week.

I purchases the product and the delivery date became an extra day. as soon as it arrived I opened it and it had yellow stains as if someone had already used the product. I do not recommend anyone to buy an expensive pillow and then receive a used product

Love this pillow, has been a real game changer for me as a chronic front sleeper, no more waking up with a headache and tons of neck pain from having my head pushed back.
