If Sleeping Beauty’s prince had been able to use this tool instead of chopping his way through the briars by hand he would have gotten his true love’s kiss a whole lot sooner! We had to deal with an overgrown area large enough to conceal a small cabin, if not a castle, but it was a huge job. Two different varieties of blackberry vines larger in diameter than my thumb and 20+ feet long, devil’s club, nettles and small trees all 6-10 feet high and all woven together into a really nasty, thorny, stinging mess. This clipper was absolutely a Godsend. It cuts through thickets while allowing the user to stand back from the brush a bit, and easily adjusts to allow cutting from any angle. The blades are very sharp and allow the tool to cut in an almost laser-like manner. Battery life is excellent, about 1 1/2 hours with an 8 ah and about an hour with a 5 ah. You gotta give up more coin for Milwaukee tools, but when there is a job like this to do it is money well invested. As noted by other reviewers this tool is on the heavy side, but not impossibly so. And this tool performs absolutely reliably. Think of it as full-body workout without the boredom of being in the gym. And it makes jobs that seem almost overwhelming waaaaay easier. Highly recommended!

I love that it’s adjustable on angle depending your working height and what trim you’re trying to achieve. It does add a lot of weight when trimming larger cedar hedges on a ladder but it’s an improvement over a short single handheld unit for reach.

These work great. I have used them on Bamboo, Crape Myrtles , Ligustrum and Viburnum. All without problems. They do have some weight to them. But I am used to it so it doesn't bother me. Highly recommend these

Game changer for sure. Its heavy but when you get used to the weight you can fly through the trimming. Excellent quality
