I have been thinking about getting this meditation box for a while now. I finally purchased, and now getting ready to do seated meditation for at least 30 minutes to an hour daily. I am still working on proper foot placement, as I do have some feet challenges. But this is better than setting up yoga blankets, bolsters, yoga blocks. So compact and easy to carry and use. I have always sat on the floor for my meditaiton practice without much problem until I exteneded my daily sitting to an hour+/session. I have found that this is hard on my body and leaves me with lasting discomfort afterwards. As someone who has sat on a cushion for many years, I find sitting in a chair uncomfortable for long periods of time during my practice. This seat has been a fantastic solution for me. It is low enough to the ground that I can still sit cross-legged but lifted enough that my knees and hips are less strained over long periods. The leg support blocks are especially useful for knee and ankle support. The back support is wonderful and seat cushion is very comfortable. I love the portable design and have traveled with it often. As an added bonus is also looks great! I don't believe that there is a seat out there that will eliminate all discomfort when sitting for longer periods of time, but this one is the best I have found so far.

This is a great portable meditation system. I am able to sit for an hour with no major discomfort.

May not be for everyone but it works well for this aging zen practitioner, the bench height and blocks take away most of the stress on my cross legged knees, back support is a great guide to make sure you’re maintaining proper posture, I have 2 of these, they travel very well
