Are there any sound effects or voices when pairing or max/minimizing the volume?

Yes, when you turn it on, it will say "paired" once it connects. But it seems faint and I don't always hear it. There are no prompts for increasing or decreasing the volume. I always keep the volume on my phone all the way up and increase or decrease the sound volume on my car stereo.

How do you sound to people on the other end when using this device for calls?

Seems to be on par with vehicles that use built-in bluetooth calling. None of my call recipients complain about difficulty hearing me.

Can i use as a line-out from an mp3 player? my new car doesn't have aux input, does support bluetooth. this will be plugged into player, not the car
