How is this cane adjustable? I need one that is 35 inches tall.

There are buttons that you press on the side to extend the cane to the correct height. I have mine set at 34" and have another 5 open slots before reaching the maximum height. I am 5'4".

Why won't the cane tip come off I've tried but it won't budge

The tip is super glued in place.

The can is adjutable. Google how high the cane should be for your height and you can easily adjust this cane to meet your needs.😊

what size base will fit this cane?

The diameter of the cane's rubber bottom is 1 1/2". The circumference is 5". I ordered one of the standard bases offered here, and had to return it because it was too small. I hope this helps.
