TTI Ryobi PBP004 ONE+ High Performance 18 Volts Lithium-Ion 4.0 Ah Battery

I've been a Ryobi 4ah battery user for literally decades. My first Ryobi tool set was made for the ancient 14.4 volt packs. With very minor modification using a Dremel tool I modified the old tool bases (circular trim saw and drill) to attach to the 18v packs and the performance of those tools went from acceptable to exceptional. I still use them, nearly 30 years later. I've tried off brands with the old 14.4v packs and with the 18v packs and the Ryobi Genuine packs are the clear winner. The last pack I purchased failed prematurely but since I hadn't registered it for warranty the failure was mine as well as the pack. I purchased another genuine Ryobi pack and I'll register this one. They're well made, charge quickly, are very durable and get the most out of my tools. Note; If none of your Ryobi tools use the enhanced power of the new technologies offered by Ryobi, get the PBP004 and don't spend the money to get the packs with the extra terminals (PBP005 with one extra in front and two in the back). The brushed motor tools don't use the brushless high power contacts in the battery pack.

Needed a new battery for my string trimmer, and this performed as expected, and without any problems.

An amazing amount of runtime for the price. Took my 18v fan with me while camping and it ran 4 days without charging. Definitely worth the price for what you get.

I ordered an extra battery knowing how I always ran out of battery life before I finished trimming my yard. With this battery, I still had juice well after I finished my yardwork, I'm talking battery life if nearly an hour.

Arrived quickly, battery works well so far. I have nothing to complain about.

Excellent in every way, and puts my old Ryobi ONE+ batteries to shame. I could quibble: for less weight, DeWalt batteries give you 5 amp hours instead of 4. And then there's the price -- no wonder clones and knock-offs are so popular. But this battery certainly does the job; I'm glad I bought it and I'll probably buy another one.

As usual, less expensive here than at Home Depot. Charged quickly and held the charge longer than I expected.

Same battery at H--e D---t. At a more reasonable price. Ordered a second a week later.

The battery fits and works perfect. Way better price than The Home Depot !
