Artist Tape medium tack
I really like this artists tape. So far it hasn’t pulled up paper but makes a good seal.

Create nice borders
Works well on watercolor paper, just don’t leave it taped too long or it’s hard to get it off.

Okay, but…
I don’t know maybe I did something wrong, but it seemed to pull the top layer of my watercolor paper off. Maybe it’s just too sticky and can be used for other things? overall, it is a nice tape, it’s just not what I was looking for

Do NOT use on drawing paper!
Completely ruined the drawing paper, which is heavy stock and not cheap. Not sure if you can see from the photo, but it’s just like regular masking tape, and I didn’t even press it down! Just placed lightly for a border. I should have purchased drafting tape as I originally started to, but the description says “good for paper”. NOT. Always go with your first instinct, right?! I will use this as regular masking tape for whatever masking tape is used for around the house, and purchase drafting tape for my drawing paper. Do not recommend as an “artist’s tape”

More like crepe masking tape.
Its not white. Its too sticky.

Higher tack than expected.
Good dimension, easy stick, gives clean paint edges, but lifted watercolour paper upon removal. Suggest removing some glue by sticking to clean fabric before using - a step I was looking to eliminate.

Garbage Tape
This stuff is beyond awful. I have no idea how it's obtained the good reviews it has. "No residue" is a straight up lie. This tapes one claim to fame is that its all residue... all of it. It ruins all paper types. I could see some possibility of using it for stretching paper with the explicit understanding that you'll be cutting off the tape parts after... that would be the single and only option. Forget clean edges... its not leaving your art without a fight and even if you can coax it off without ripping it to shreds... its gonna leave crap ALL over your paper. I feel like the remainder of this tape i have left might have some possibilities in a revenge plot against my enemies... ill have to give it some thought. I can guarantee it'll be the star.

Ruined my watercolour paper
Used to tape edges of watercolour to art board. Left it on for 24 hrs to let my art dry. Ripped the paper up upon removal. Tried twice with another paper. (Winsor Newton) same fault. Previously used cheap masking tape which never ripped the paper or bled water through. Back to the good old cheap stuff that works.
