Logitech Wireless Presenter R500s PowerPoint Clicker with Laser Pointer

Pros: fits nicely in my hand (I have smaller hands), feels nice, buttons click nicely so you know it worked, the click sound is very quiet so attention isn’t drawn by the audience to your clicker, the “next” button is very large, came with a battery already installed (AAA), works perfectly out of the box Cons: the laser pointer isn’t too bright in lighter environments, especially against screens (even dark colored ones), the setup was easy (I already have Logitech products so I already had the software) but did take a bit of troubleshooting to get it to connect to my MacBook Air (had to take the battery out and put it back for it to recognize it in the Logi software), the “next” button is very easy to press so if you are heavy-handed it will take some getting used to to ensure you don’t accidentally flip your slides too early Otherwise, it has worked great for me so far. I would highly recommend this option to anyone looking for a simple clicker for amateur presentations. For professionals who need more/different features, there may be a better option out there, but it is still good. As someone who does community presentations as a volunteer, this is perfect for my uses and, once set up, it worked exactly how I needed it to (I didn’t need the laser pointer to begin with, so that didn’t bother me). I think this is worth it for what I paid, especially since I will get a lot of use out of it. Overall, just a good product.

I needed a remote to advance the cues in my GoButton app. This works perfectly. No noticeable latency. I tried it over 30ft away and it worked great, although I only need it to go 10ft. Feels good in the hands and your hands can rest in a natural position to conceal the remote if you are being filmed. I've had good experience with Logitech, that's why I paid a little more over the many much less expensive remotes.

This product works quite well and the size is perfect. I like that the controls are so basic that there aren’t any buttons to accidentally presss. I also like the fact that it turns the power off automatically when you replace the USB connector, as I have frequently forgotten to shut off the power on other clickers and drained the battery. One caution, though: If the connector isn’t put back in the unit, the power does stay on. I’ve used many clickers over the years and this one is my favorite.

It’sa well known brand and functions as expected. I use it in conjunction with my iPad doing presentations. Holds the charge well, and works from a reasonable distance.

I recently used the Logitech Wireless Presenter R500 for a Zoom presentation and absolutely loved it. It connected seamlessly and made advancing my slides completely stress-free, letting me focus on my delivery instead of the tech. I didn’t end up needing the laser pointer for a virtual talk, but the remote itself fit perfectly in my hand and felt very natural to use. The compact, low-profile design also meant it was barely noticeable on camera, which I really appreciated. Overall, it’s a simple, reliable presenter that I’d happily use again and recommend to others.

Simple and easy to use. Plugged it in and it was ready to go to work. Its nice and compact, with decent range and battery life.

Comfortable to hold, long battery life, and great option to not have a dongle in your tablet and just use Bluetooth.

Poor connectivity and very weak laser. This laser had poor connection when the dongle was only 10 feet away. I had to walk closer to 5 feet away to advance slides. It literally had worse connectivity than the wireless mouse. Also, the red laser was basically invisible in a half-lit classroom.

Really satisfied with this remote. Opted for the 3-button version and love the large advance button in the middle: easy to feel for it while presenting without looking down. I primarily use it from about 40 ft from where the USB sensor is plugged into the computer and it works really well.
