Between 50 and 80 miles great reception
Truly amazing antenna. Assembly was a little tricky but carefully following the instructions eventually got it together. It is installed at a location far from TV towers. The front end is pointed almost due north to a number of towers in that direction. Some are high output and one is weak output. The strong ones are between 50 and 80 miles away and come through fine. The weak one is 50 miles away and comes through most of the time. Then, oddly, 80 miles due south is a tower that comes through just fine. Tuning the direction and tilt took a while since the antenna's field of reception is extremely narrow. I tuned it on the weakest station. The construction is quite rugged. It hangs on a rope 60 feet up that is suspended between two 100 ft trees. The front of the antenna has a string to the ground that is used to set the direction and tilt. Success was not immediate. I discovered that one of my short coaxes had intermittent contact. After replacing that everything is near perfect and I receive 26 stations!

Outstanding Performance and Build Quality!
I installed the DAT BOSS Mix LR in a rural area with fringe reception, and the difference was immediate. It pulled in crystal-clear HD channels from towers over 60 miles away that my previous antenna couldn't touch. The automatic signal filtering (TForce technology) completely eliminated interference, giving me a rock-solid picture on every channel. Setup was straightforward, and the sturdy construction easily stands up to high winds and rain. If you need a serious, long-range outdoor antenna to cut the cord for good, this is worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Excellent follow up service
This is an excellent antenna with excellent service. This antenna has the amplifier built into the antenna itself so it it amplifies the signal not the noise. Unfortunately just weeks after installation we took a lightning hit right next to the house. after that no reception with the new antenna. I took the antenna down called the service department in PA It was after noon Friday I was on with the department in just a couple minutes. The engineer was very good and in less than 10 minutes he had my information and the replacement part off to Fed-ex. The part arrived Sunday afternoon I installed it and the system is working great. Oh and regarding performance I live in Northeast Scottsdale on a hillside. I get all the local high and low power channels. I also can watch several Tuscon channels from close to 100 miles away

Great product
To start, this review is unbiased, I received nothing for free. Ordered this when I decided to cut the cord, so the speak. Getting rid of Direct TV and moving to OTR television with a few streaming services for premium content. Installed this antenna on top of my house, on a 20' mast, so it's about 32' from the ground. We live in a fringe area, about 60 miles from the broadcast towers for the Dallas/Ft Worth metromess. We are also in a low lying area with lots of mature trees. As it turned out, aiming it at the towers, the antenna is pointing directly at the top third of a large cedar tree, which concerned me. It arrived on time and packaged well, no damage. Unpacking and assembly was pretty straight-forward, took maybe an hour being very careful. Installation went well, I just connected to the existing coax from the dish and the first channel scan resulted in about 80 channels from the target towers, with a couple picked up from another market off the back of the antenna. 2nd scan jumped me up to 114 channels. So for my purposes, this antenna works great. It's build quality appears to be better than another antenna I put on a more remote property a few years ago, that one uses a lot of plastic pieces, where this one uses mostly metal. We'll see how long this one lasts, but right now I am very impressed. It even comes with it's own amplifier, so no added purchase beyond the proper length of coax cable is necessary. I do plan to tee it off to two additional sets in the house, but right now I am just using it for one tv on each of the outputs from the amplifier and it's working fine. I would definitely buy it again.

Best yagi antenna ever!
Hands down the best TV antenna out there. I live in rural ME with a small mountain range between me and two major channels. I could always get a strong signal for ABC & NBC (rated yellow on antennaweb.org) but CBS & FOX (rated blue) were always very weak with intermittent loss of signal, depending upon the season. Summer leaves definitely caused some loss of signal compared to winter reception. I have used five different antennas (yagis, omnis, amplified, etc.) with limited success. I now get a strong green signal on all channels with no loss of signal. Assembly took about 45 minutes but was relatively easy. This antenna is not cheap but is totally worth the cost.

Worth it
We live in a rural area and most TV stations are 22-50+ miles from us. I had trouble mostly getting clear reception from VHF channels. I bought this based on reviews and am now receiving better reception. It is a directional antenna so it does need to be pointing in the right direction which for us isn't a big deal since most stations are in about the same area from us. If we had stations in different areas (south and north for example) I can see where it may be annoying to keep having to rotate the antenna. The other thing is that the antenna is very large so be aware of that. I'm guessing it would work well in an attic if you lived in a major metropolitan area. It was a bit pricy but I would say it was worth it.

Awesome top-notch antenna, worth the money
A huge improvement over my last rooftop antenna that started losing channels around six months agoI, I now have 25 more channels than before I see channels that Iโve never knew were reachable in my area and they come in without pixelation, had I known I would have upgraded to this years ago.

Redesigned for FCC repack channels up to 36.
This is about as good as it gets. Be aware this antenna is very directional and beamwidth is narrower then most. You have weak stations this antenna doesn't get them then you not going to get them. She'll pull in long distant signals very well but be aware you have stations more then about 30 degrees apart in different directions You may not get them without second antenna. You have strong signals from over 30 degrees beamwidth might want to try Televes Elipse. Has a wider beam width and about 85% of reliable signal strength. Comparable antennas Channel Master 4228 much wider beamwidth and some what multidirectional. Top Notch antennas XPS 1500 but you must add booster. The CM antenna did very well but not quit as good on lower UHF channel. The XPS 1500 much smaller cheaper and directional did as well and sometimes better but then again you must add booster.

Top Notch antenna
I just set up my new Televes LR Mix. Most of the channels I was picking up now has a stronger signal strength, thereโs one channel thatโs was iffy to begin with that I lost completely. This is because this antenna has a more narrow beam width as my former antenna. On the other end, Iโm now picking up a channel I have no business picking up. The only other disappointing situation is that I wasnโt able to receive Fox from Buffalo when I technically should be able to pick it up, but it was a long shot at about 75 miles away and a bunch of ridges in the way. I would 100% buy this antenna again, but someone in Canada should get a supply of them, because having the supplier for Canada in the USA drives up the cost. Base price of the antenna $256 Then shipping from USA to Canada $84 Then there are duty charges of about $125. UPS got about the same price of the antenna in shipping costs. Ridiculous. UPDATE: Since the leaves have fallen off the trees that I had surrounding my house my signal has improved. I was already impressed by the power of this antenna, but seeing what it can do when it has a clearer sight to the transmitter make me really appreciate the work it does to provide a stable signal through trees hampering the signal.

Best tv antenna being offered on Amazon Canada
The Antenna performs very well so far. My location is behind tall trees that never allowed me to have a steady signal. This unit pulled off the channels I was expecting. Once I powered up the amp, the channels' signal level improved exponentially. Beside the unit complexity, it was easy to assemble. The bad part is that it is very directional and I will need a second unit to receive the channels located within 45 deg from the main direction. I expected that after having the same issues with all the previous antennas I had tried. I would recommend this antenna if the stations are located in a 40 mile range, and there are obstacles between the location and the TV tower.

The best antenna period , Purolater shipping complete farce
After tracing down my Purolator package , without zero help from Purolater Sntenns was finally picked up miles from delivery location However thankfully products high level quality made purchase worth it . Itโs large but light and balanced . On roof not very high . On first test it had perfect reception of the same amount of stations found on my previous one ( but HD ) . Next day with a compass I repointed it to farthest stations and wow. Double the stations all perfect. Precisely point it snd itโs amazing.
