Excellent small snowblower!
This is a relatively small and compact snowblower. It is easy to handle and works very well! Storage is very easy! Ego batteries are top of the line!

Wow if you were hedging just do it
Works exceptionally well for the size it is. Regardless of my gas blowers starting reliably on the first or second pull, somehow everything just gets done faster. I assume because it’s much lighter I’m less fatigued over time allowing me to keep a quicker pace. After testing how much can get done in 23in of snow/snow drifts I’m very happy with it (about 10 car spots worth). If you have around 6in of snow you could expect to get around 26 cars worth of space done. It’s not a miracle snowblower but it’s close. The only issue is also remembering to charge batteries or deciding what areas matter most first if you have a bunch of snowfall you can’t get through in one go. Haven’t had any issues or anything break even after eating some rocks and sticks. A bit pricey but very worth it.

Good choice, but there are several areas were the design of the machine could be improved.
On the whole this on one of the better moderate duty snow blowers you can buiy, but there are a few areas where it needs design improvement. First it needs to come with properly designed skids or wheels in the front that are height adjustable. I added my own but honestly they should be properly designed into the machine from the outset. The lid for the battery compartment does not ope fully and won't stay open on its own. That means you have to keep holding the lid open while you are releasing the batteries which is not in any way convenient. Honestly it's flat out dumb. another poorly designed aspect is the snow deflector at the top of the chute. You need to pull a trigger to raise it up, but it can be pushed down on its own. If feel it should just permanently lock into place with the trigger in both directions. Having to fool with it is annoying and as an 83 year old, I tend to want to use it to steady myself on the slick sidewalks. If you touch it, it goes down so it's not any help. From a storage point of view, it would be nice if the entier chute could be snapped off with some sort of quick release mechanism. The handle and chute end up being bulkier and consuming more space than they should when stored. Another very important aspect would be a replaceable steel plate with tungsten wear protection teeth as is found on bulldozer blades and buckets. This is an improvement all manufactures' machines need. The all plastic blades can wear out very quickly. All this said, I'm positive about this machine, but is it is far from being brilliantly engineered. For that reason, I only gave it 4 stars. It works well, but could be improved considerably as described above.

Its Got Some Power, wish I had more battery though
Our first snow of the season was 10" of wet snow. Considering it is just a single stage machine, it exceeded my expectations for this snow. When I was able to take full bites, it did throw the snow a good distance. I did have to vary the rate that I was pushing the EGO to not bog the motor down. As expected with this snow. The chute never clogged. I cleared a good amount of area, but wish I would have had a pair of the 7.5 Ah batteries. I did have to do a recharge before finishing. I'm making an educated guess here, but I think I cleared about 1500 sqft on the first charge. Remember, this was 10" of wet snow. Almost forgot to mention, that the scraper edge did collect froze snow clumps that I would have to remove from time to time.

The product failed in 10 days and rude/unhelpful customer service added insult to injury.
This blower let me down hard in the first 2 weeks of ownership - in the middle of snow storm. I already have the Tesla, so I was all for electric and spent nearly $700 dollars on this machine for it to fail in 6 inches of snow on its third use. I suspect I triggered the overload on some ice snow, but it simply will not turn back on. This product has no reset, fusebox, or any other home maintenance allowance. So when it goes down, you are utterly at the mercy of EGO, and I assure you, they have minimal concerns about your ability to move snow. Customer support was not surprised to hear my machine died, and without question indicated they would send out a new machine... in 14 business days. This mean I would have it in essentially a month. They were unwilling to send it out any sooner. After indicating my frustration, customer support tried to tell me that I would be unable to return bc I opened it box (obviously not true). It's almost as if their support staff is trained to be vexatious to offer no problem solving solution, make a vague reference to a "rare defect," and offer a replacement you MIGHT see in a month or so. In fact, this was not even my first issue with the machine - this is not written ANYWHERE online, but if the batteries or charger is too cold, it messes with the temperature sensor and they won't change. So on day 2, I couldn't even charge the batteries and call to support was useless because their sole solution is to send you a new battery... in 14 business days. Again it was snowing and I had a useless $700 piece of plastic so I happened to figure out that warming the batteries inside would allow them to charge. To be fair, I will say that when this machine happens to be working, the batteries to actually last quite a while and have plenty of power; but I spent a ton of money a still ended up shoveling 8 inches of snow this morning by hand. My driveway looks terrible and as I write this I hear a cadence of gas blowers that my neighbors were apparently smart enough to buy which is EXACTLY the route I will be going from here on out. Even if EGO figures out a better machine, their apathy towards my inability to actually move snow means I am DONE with this company. SKIP this machine, SKIP EGO, and bus a gas machine.

I was miffed that it came late but that was UPS fault I suspect not the seller. On the unit, it cuts through 7” moderate snow easily, my driveway is about 60’ long and there was still 50% charge left. It’s not self propelled so I think it would be work with greater than 10”. But it’s light, really easy to use and it’s a single stage direct drive, mostly plastic so should be much more reliable than the conventional 2 stage belt driven units. Only used it twice but so far looks good. PS handle folds for easy storage.
