Blue Sea 6007 Dual Battery Switch Selector

I have bought a few of the Blue Sea switches and they are very good. It can be mounted three different ways depending on where you are putting it. My favorite thus far is to have just the dial exposed with the rest of it behind. When buying these be mindful of the size...the smaller ones have an "m" on the switch. I give it a high rating for value for money as I expect to have it in place for decades.

This product is advertised as a Blue Sea brand 6007 selector. It arrived as a copy made in China. It does appear to be well made but there is a distinct difference in feel from the actual Blue Sea 6007 as the knob is rotated. I returned mine and was given a prompt refund. Good customer service. Since it was a copy and I could not verify the specifications, I could not install it in my vessel with the confidence that it would be reliable. I take my boat off shore and in remote places. I can’t risk a failure from a component I know nothing about. It might be well made and reliable but it wasn’t the product advertised. Had it been advertised as an equal product, I might have kept it.

Unfortunately the new replacement battery switch was not the same dimensions of the old one. Required a completely new installation as it didn't match the other mounting holes.

It looks good and went together easy enough, but only lasted a few trips and then came apart. Not a good feeling to see battery cables hanging down in the compartment when you're a long way from shore.
