Old Glory Rustic Flag Puzzle

I bought this because my son asked for a puzzle of a weathered American flag. He plans to use Buffalo glue sheets to affix the completed puzzle and hang it up. This fit the bill perfectly.

This isn't as simple as it looks. Normally I do 1000 piece puzzles so I almost didn't buy this, but I'm so glad that I did because it turned out to be more challenging and fun than I thought and it looks fantastic when it's done. The pieces are cut in traditional size shapes.

Some pieces look like they fit together but they really don't.... you have to look VERY closely to make sure they fit PERFECTLY!

It's beautiful but it also looks like the right side of the flag is cropped off too much. So the flag looks wrong. Kinda bummed - wish I had caught it earlier.

Many hours of fun with this one, because of the repetitive stars and stripes. The only thing helping to find pieces is the slight differences in brightness and hue across the flag

Puzzle looks like it will be nice when done. Harder than I expected
