BT-DUAL Wireless Dual Adaptor Bluetooth Audio and MIDI Capabilities

This is a great extra for the boss gx pedal. Quickly connected to my iPhone 15 and worked seamlessly with the app. If your are unsure if it’s worth it It is!

After this arrived it was fitted and working within 5 minutes. Undo the screw at back of the amp, remove rubber plug, pop the BT adapter in and pop the screw back in via hole in adapter and tighten down. Amp on, press the connect button on the adapter and search for it in phone, or tablet under your Bluetooth connections. Two choices came up, KTN audio or KTN midi. I select audio, and connection was immediate. Can now pump tracks through any app, you tube etc through the amps speakers, no latency or cutting out. This does away with the flaky aux cable and allows a lot more distance for the device. Knocked off 2 stars only because I think it's a little overpriced for what it is. Other than that, yeah...if your Boss gear supports it, nab one.

Yes it's not cheap is it? And i'm not sure if it would be good value if it was used with an effects unit just to change the presets 'wirelessly' rather than having to plug it in to your laptop? however i'm using it on the Boss Katana 110 amp and so it can: 1) connect to your phone/tablet to change the stored amp presets via bluetooth midi - but you can still use the laptop to do the same thing so not bothered about that really! 2) but i can also connect to a phone/tablet with bluetooth sending music to the amp and still have an instrument plugged in as well for backing track/playing along with! - this is the main event for me as in reality although it's just a bluetooth input, what with phones/tablets losing their 3.5mm headphone output, bluetooth is now the easiest way to accomplish this. Hopefully the Katana guitar amps will get this feature, though you can play guitar, keyboards or whatever though a bass combo as they're built to take a good thumping so a bit of other stuff won't hurt it! Also if you just want a very loud bluetooth speaker it's very loud with the option to jam along with any 'stranglers' tracks doing your best JJ Burnel impression!

I bought this for my katana 100 Gen 3. It was very easy to install one screw into the pack of the amp holds it in place perfectly, its tiny so doesnt cause any additional bulk. PROS: connects with app on my phone which is excellent, i can tweek settings or downloafs sounds from other users straihht to amp in seconds. Well made. CONS: Price - its expensive for what it is. And i think it should come prebuilt into the amp. Sometimes connectivity is lost, however there is a little button on the adaptor to re sync Overall it really does open up alot of features for the amp and therefore i would recommend buying it, its judt a shame its not prebuilt in already.

This product works really well with my Boss ME-90. It connects and remains connected to my iPhone unlike the glut of Valeton-like flakey garbage promising endless editing, remarkable cab IR/amp choices. This works for me first time every time, is easy to install and without the usual clown-around I’ve experienced with other cheap, Chinese crap. Well done Boss, just your overpriced Waza Air headphone Bluetooth functionality you need to make work more than once out of ten attempts.

Great item adds great functionality.

Used on a Katana 50w Gen 3 amp. There are two Bluetooth connections provided - MIDI for controlling the amp and Audio for playback. It works well for Bluetooth audio. Connects easily every time. It is, however, somewhat temperamental to connect to for updating patches and adjusting setting. It often takes 3, 4, 5... attempts to connect, but when it does connect it works well enough. It is designed to work with Boss Tone Studio, but I have had rather more success using a third party app, Katana Librarian.

Fits perfectly to the ME90 and no doubt, other appropriate boss products. I always wondered why they weren’t just included or built into the product, but understand the Bluetooth requirements of each country can be very different leading to extra costs for testing and compliance in each country.
