It is dishwater safe but be aware if you have it next to other metals it could scratch slightly. Although if you love your spoon you will use it and you will add your own scratches over time. Like a beautiful Rolex.... doesn’t really make sense not to love ever scratch you put into it becAuse every scratch is yours
