What is the expiration date for this product?

The last batch of this tea that I have, was purchased by me on 4/3/21. On the very bottom of the packet of the tea appears the date 'NOV 22'. Can't say for certain that this is an expiration date; but I would assume that is since the tea it couldn't have been manufactured in 2022 because I purchased it in 2021 this date is probably a 'best by' or an expiration date. I was born in Ireland 77 years ago and my favorite uncle was a Wine & Spirit, Grain and Tea Merchant. Thompson's is the closest to the tea I drank back in Ireland. If you have chlorine in your water and you are a real tea fanatic boil the water in an open pot and let it sit overnight or use bottled water. Don't worry about a expiration date very much on tea since if is stored properly it has at least a 2 year shelf life before the flavor starts to break down. Thompson's tea is sometimes hard to find and I have found that Amazon is the safest bet in terms of availability. From what I gather, Thompson's can't keep up with the demand for its tea so it is doubtful that it would ever have a chance to get stale or pass an expiration date. No, I don't work for Thompson's but I do love their tea. Hope this of some help.

I think this makes a perfect cup of tea. I normally drink loose tea. I keep this in my desk at work because it's more convenient, but it really is spot on.
