This is the original which always fits and is easy to use. Many alternatives are clumsy, and require assembly which does not work as nice. Always has right shape, easy to wash. My preference is not black and this color is perfect. It will last for years as our existing Ballcap Buddy has lasted. But with more and more caps being used, we needed more. Highly recommended as the preferred solution.

I’ve been washing my baseball caps by hand for years and they always ended up a little warped or just not looking right. I grabbed this BallcapBuddy on a whim and it’s a total game changer. Just pop your hat in, snap it shut, and throw it in the washing machine (top loader). My hats come out clean, shaped perfectly, and the brim stays nice and curved like new.I’ve already washed like 6 different caps (fitted and snapback) and it works great every time. The plastic feels strong and the latch is easy to use. I even tossed it in the dishwasher on the top rack once to test it and it cleaned up with no problem.No more hand washing or ruined hats. My favorite caps actually look brand new again. Super simple tool but it does exactly what it says.If you have a bunch of hats that need regular cleaning, just get this. Worth every penny.5 stars. So far so good. Definitely a plus from the old ways of cleaning caps. I used the dishwasher as my cleaning method. Did barely well with maintaining the integrity of the shape of the caps too. These particular caps are over 5 years old and never been cleaned. I had actually retired them. Definitely recommend this product.

Did the trick! We washed it in the top rack of the dishwasher and then left it on a drying rack to air dry. This hat had three years of sweat, sunscreen, and summer pool/beach days. I’m impressed. Now I know what I’m giving my family members for Christmas!

I have a few hats I wear quite often that were starting to look really gross from all the sweat that's been through them. Hand washing is time consuming and a pain and the thought of putting them in the dishwasher just didn't seem right. After all, I'd rather use detergent designed for washing fabric on my hats than detergent designed for washing dishes. I wanted something that would let me wash my hats in the washing machine without getting the bills all broken. While there's lots of products on Amazon for washing baseball caps, this one seemed a little more legit and had a lot of positive reviews. Unfortunately this really didn't seem as good as I hoped. It's fairly thin plastic and doesn't seem very durable. It's also a little tricky to get open. While my hats do look cleaner and the bills are still in good shape, the holder seemed to come apart opposite the side that opens during the spin cycle and the hats mostly slipped from the holder, despite washing on the delicate cycle and at the lowest spin speed. Unfortunately all of the competing products seem to be more of the same or worse. There really needs to be something more durable that will firmly hold the hat that can hold up in a washing machine.

I’m very happy with this item. It performs exactly as advertised and has been completely reliable so far. Setup was simple, everything functioned right out of the box, and the quality is exactly what I expected. No complaints at all it does its job well and feels like a solid, well made product. Overall, a great purchase that I would definitely recommend.

Product Review: BallcapBuddy, The Original Cap Washer I purchased this hat mold to safely wash my dirty hats without distorting the original shape. Although I have used it on all five of my hats with great outcomes, the directions could be more specific. Who is this product for? The BallcapBuddy is a great purchase for anyone that is skeptical about washing their favorite hat because of the risk of the original shape being lost. This product can also be used to simply clean hats that are covered in dirt, sweat or whatever else may be taking the original color from your hat. Simply place the BallcapBuddy in a dishwasher with your dishes, or in a washer with light clothes and your hat is as good as new. Evaluation Criteria I made the purchase and wrote this Amazon review based on the following criteria: 1. Cost. Because the product is completely plastic and I have never bought something that I could compare it to, I was not going to spend more than 10 dollars. 2. Easy to Use. I wanted something that didn’t take a lot of time out of my day and wasn’t difficult to use. 3. Life Expectancy. Since I wear a hat almost every day, I wanted something that was going to last a long time so I wouldn’t have to waste money on new hats. I have only used it five times, so I will update the review after a couple more cycles of washing. Overall Assessment For the most part I am very pleased with my purchase of the BallcapBuddy. I was hesitant with the first use due to the instructions not being completely specific on whether or not leaving the hat in the dry cycle of the dishwasher would damage the hat. The instructions say to wash on a normal or light cycle and to leave the hat in the BallcapBuddy to dry but do not specify whether or not to let the hat air dry or let the dishwasher do the job. Because of this I decided to let the dishwasher dry the hat with an older hat so I would not be heartbroken if it was damaged. Luckily the hat came out unaffected. Also, the directions state specifically not to use lemon detergent which meant I had to purchase separate detergent to wash my hats. In conclusion, if you are a busy person like me and don’t have time to hand wash your caps, I fully recommend the BallcapBuddy.

Muy útil para la limpieza de las gorras, me ha servido ya que era muy difícil lavarlas antes. Así se cuidan y no se maltratan.

Es perfecto para lavar cualquier tipo de gorra🧢 Recomiendo dejarlas secar con la arandela puesta para que la gorra conserve su forma :)
