VAUEN Dr. Perl Junior 9mm Charcoal Pipe Filters, 180 Count Value Pack

This is my "go to" 9mm Filter, absolute Top Quality, good fit, doesn't affect flavour. My preference is to use a New Filter every time, but there have been instances due to necessity that I reused a Filter and it was acceptable, even good. This speaks highly of the performance of the Filters. The price is fair, a good value for the 180 count bulk box, and worth it for the quality you're receiving. If you need 9mm Filters this is the smart choice.

As I got a little older I find that I'm sensitive to nicotine. I can't stand getting dizzy. Nicotine also increases blood pressure. The tars aren't good for you either. The moisture and steam can cause tongue and mouth burn. These stop all of that, and I do not notice any decrease in flavor. They also prevent the tobacco and ash from coming up the stem and into your mouth. I never noticed a draw problem either. I usually discard after each smoke and they're cheap enough to go fresh every time. I can't think of any good reason to not use them. Now I only buy pipes that can take a 9mm filter. I even bought a box of the 6mm ones for my Savinelli that takes the smaller size.

Good filters but a little narrow for Peterson pipes, need to wrap a tin piece of paper around them before installing. Pain

Had bought a great 9 mm Pipe and smoked some PS3 tobacco with a different filter and it was awful. Used the Vauen and it made all the difference in the world. Really created a smooth smoke and no tongue bite. Highly recommend.

I have been using this product for near 12 years and one makes the best active charcoal filters hands down. The pellets inside are small, allowing for more of them, in order to remove even more tar. However, the new model changed things and seems to use ceramic on both ends. Up to last year, one end was a thin plastic mesh and the other side was a thicker ceramic this allows more number of pellets inside the filter. But switching to ceramic on both sides caused the number of the pellets to reduce and make the product overall less high quality. Please bring back the old design that fits more pellets in each filter. Thank you

Makes the smoke smoother. No loss of flavor.

These charcoal filters are the only charcoal type filters I use because unlike other charcoal filters that give tobacco an offputting taste or have charcoal dust that goes through the filters, these are well engineered to be perfect. I read a very long explanation of the science that went into making these on the Vauen website and it is very impressive and although they are more expensive tr han most other charcoal filters they are well worth the price especially if you buy expensive tobacco and care about preserving the flavor of said tobacco while smoking.

Second time ordering from them. First time got 1 box of 180 count this time I got a 1 with a 100 and 2 with 40 count each. Isn't an issue for me since I got what I paid for.
