Cream of Rice Gluten Free Hot Cereal, 14 Ounce

I saw this in a grocery store and had to try it. I already loved cream of wheat and rice, so why wouldn't the combo be just as good? I don't have gluten intolerance, so I can't speak to that, but it's just as comforting as the original wheat with a more enjoyable texture. I never thought cream of wheat was grainy until I tried the rice version. It's just a bit smoother. Mixes well with syrup (I like mine sweet), but I'm sure it would also be good savory if that's your preference. I like to eat it as emergency work breakfast. I keep a box in my office and cook it in a bowl using the microwave: -add cream of rice to a bowl & mix in water -1 minute in the microwave, stir -30 seconds, stir -repeat 30 seconds at a time until it reaches my desired consistency I ordered the 4 pack, and it ordered intact with no damage to the box or product within.

Such a good deal for cream of rice! Just know this is extremely bland by itself and you need some kind of protein powder, stevia, cinnamon and stuff like that to spice it up;)

This is one of those basic pantry items that just works every time. It cooks up into a smooth, soft texture that feels really comforting and easy to eat. I’ve added sweet toppings sometimes, and other times kept it simple and it still tastes good either way. It mixes easily without clumping too much, and the consistency comes out pretty consistent as long as I stir it well. It’s quick to prepare, which makes it convenient when I want something warm without much effort. The only thing that caught me off guard is that the box was smaller than I expected. Not a dealbreaker, just something I noticed when I opened it up. Overall, it’s a simple but really satisfying hot cereal. Nothing fancy, just easy, comforting, and reliable when I want something that tastes good and fills the gap.

I love this hot cereal. I eat it every day either as breakfast or a snack. You can have it many ways. Mix in something sweet, berries or nuts. Very healthy and delicious.

Due to dietary restrictions, I needed something easily digestible and with iron. It cooks up nicely and I add almond butter, cocoa powder and almond milk. So far so good.

No need to buy fancy products. This gets the Job done

I have loved cream of rice all my life and that is 60+ years now. Easy to fix. Gentle on the tummy. Follow the instructions on the box and you'll cook them right.

Pretty delicious and good value. Good alternative to oatmeal.
