We use this product frequently to freeze soups for lunch “blocks”, sauces, chilli & even just to make larger ice blocks.

I bought this because I wanted to start meal prepping...also I tend to cook way too much food at times so this comes in hand so I can freeze my leftovers. I've used it a couple of times and I really like it. The border is thick/sturdy enough that it doesn't fold or make it hard to get food out. The tray itself stands up on it's own. Once the food is frozen and you are ready to take it out; food comes out easy, just pops right out. It's perfect size too not too big but not too small either. The individual compartments have measurements too so you know how much you've filled.

Im really impressed with the quality. It held its shape while filling. Went right to the freezer and my frozen soup easily popped out. I travel for work. These will be so much easier to transport to my 14 week assignments then all of the 1 to 2 cup glass bowls I usually travel with. I batch cook at the beginning of my assignments and freeze everything for quick grab and go. I was able to batch several meals , freeze them in your cubes, remove them into sustainable freezer bags and continue to batch through out the weekend. I now have a freezer full of ready to microwave meals . I now only need to travel with a few lidded glass bowls that I throw the frozen meal into and eat at work! Brilliant!

I love the peel off lid on this design, but the silicone of the mold itself is a bit flimsy. You really can’t stack these while freezing or the weight will cause the food to bulge outwards and they will be VERY hard to push out because they’ll be wider than the opening itself. I don’t have that problem with another brand I got from somewhere else because the silicone is a lot sturdier. And it’s rare that I’m freezing only one tray at a time, I’m often doing 3 or more since I’m batch cooking. Unfortunately I wouldn’t buy these again because of that problem.
