Replaced old wooden porch pickets with these... look great! Bought too many but have found multiple uses for the extras. Great buy! Very well pleased!

I opted to save some money for a project I am working on constructing hangars for my antique barn lights by buying this ten pack of 1/2" pipes instead of individual ones. Didn't need 10 but it is much cheaper this way, and it never hurts to have extras just in case.

Unlike the real plumbing pipe you buy in a hardware / home improvement store, these aren’t actually 8 inches long. For a previous project I bought pipes, bases, and caps in my local Home Depot. Those were labeled as 8 inches and the pipes measured 8 inches from the bottom of the threads on each end; so the overall pipe was actually a bit over 9 inches. These pipes are listed as 8 inches but measure 7 3/4 overall from end to end.

These pipe nipples arrived cut to the listed length and matched standard 1/2″ threading. Threads were clean and consistent on all pieces, and they threaded smoothly into matching fittings without cross-threading. The black finish is even and gives a classic industrial look that works well for steampunk-style builds, shelving, or exposed pipe projects. The steel feels solid with good weight, and the pipes stayed straight once installed and tightened. Used for DIY decorative and utility builds, and they performed as expected with no visible defects or damaged threads in the pack.

Cheap pipe nipples, not worth the shipping costs. Rusty and thin pipe, with poor threads. These aren't schedule 40 pipe nipples.

I have no idea what this material is. It is metal because it is magnetic, but it is the cheapest I have ever seen. I originally thought it was plastic when I took it out of the package. There is no weight to this at all. I would NOT trust this for any piping that you need it for strength or rigidity. I am using it to extend a drain that will not be under pressure. I would NEVER use these for a job on for someone else. They do not fill me with any confidence.

Si quieres un producto demasiado vintage, sies para ti, pero definitivamente lo devolveré porque los tubos llegaron super oxidados. He comprado con otros vendedores productos con mayor calidad y mejor precio. Adicionalmente, solo están empacados en un sobre.

llego muy oxidado, hice al mismo tiempo un segundo pedido y hasta fecha no ha llegado, me enviaron un comentario para devolver el $, falta calidad en la pintura de acabado, por el precio debería tener mejor calidad.

Was planning to use this for DIY. Was waiting for this with full of excitement. When it arrived, I immediately opened it up just to feel fully disappointed. Everything was covered in rust. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this item

These pipes are thin, and the paint works really badly, with marks and scratches.
