Clostnature 2in Lightweight Self Inflating Sleeping Pad for Camping

I put a thick yoga mat (from Amazon) under this and it was perfect! Hold your horses! No, this is not for: -lightweight camping -minimalist camping -backpacking -survivalist hammock off-the-grid DIY camping It is for comfort while tent camping without spending a million dollars to sleep on the ground. And I love it. I bought two thick yoga mats and 2 of these. Did 4 tent trips with them so far and have had great success. Here's our routine: Tent and these go on the top of the pile in the wayback of the car. Tent goes up. I take my shoes off, get in, and I am handed two yoga mats, two of these, and bedding. While everything else gets unloaded onto the picnic table (I said it wasn't minimalist camping), I'm in the tent at work - unroll the yoga mats, unroll these puppies, open the air vents, and snap them together. I throw down a couple of flat sheets and blankets and leave them. By the time we've started a fire and set up, these have fluffed up enough that I just blow about 10 big breaths into each and we're good. It WILL be easier if you can store them "inflated." They have a memory and the foam inflates quicker if you store them that way. I keep them inflated under the bed and roll them up a few days before we need to pack them. It definitely improves their inflation time. But even if you can't do that, just open the air valve and let them "relax" a little bit before manually adding air. As a side note - these were purchased to convert a "non-tenter" into sleeping on the ground. He loves it. There are so many new places we can go with just the tent now. I got these at a low price in case sleeping on the ground just didn't work out. I have a Thermarest Basecamp from camping by myself that has lasted 15 years, and I'm only mentioning the Thermarest because I want to point out that I have purchased at the high end of the budget as well. Yes, the Thermarest is a higher quality, but pairing these with the yoga mats is absolutely fine. And that they snap together makes it a lot less slippery to have 2 people, 2 pads, 2 everything shifting around in a tent. These are a good deal.

When I got my sleeping pad, I tried it out before going camping. I found that the pillow part of the pad didn't keep air. :( That wasn't the end of the world since I was going car camping and I could just pack a pillow, but it was still disappointing. Since the pad came with a card saying that it has a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects, I emailed the address that came with the pad with solid proof that it was a manufacturing problem (part of the seam was clearly not sealed by their machine). They were very nice and mailed me a new pad, which arrived in about a week. The new pad works great. So even though I had problems, the fact that I didn't have to fight with customer service to get it fixed was really nice. I'll also note that on the first pad (the one with the leaky pillow) it didn't hold air (!) either. The valve was broken. :( I ended up still sleeping on it since I didn't realize this till I got to the campsite. Amazingly, even with the broken valve it was still a fairly comfy pad. Later, I realized that I could actually fix the valve by popping the valve cap off with a screwdriver and re-seating the O-ring. Once I did that then it worked perfectly. So overall: * First pad: leaky pillow, valve broken (but easy to fix once I figured it out), ironically still comfy enough even leaky. * Customer service: very nice and sent me a new pad with no problems. * Second pad: so far, no problems at all. The price is certainly right. 5*

I bought two of these mats maybe three years ago. For the price range they are in, I actually really like them. I can't use straight inflatable mats due to pretty serious joint issues, and this is a good intersection of size/weight/function. Of the two I bought three years ago, one still works great and the other got some kind of puncture. I ordered a new one to replace the one with a puncture, but found the snaps don't line up with my old one. I figured products change over time, so I just bought a second new one but picked a different color. The snaps on the two NEW ones also don't line up! This is a bit frustrating for me, so if you plan on using that function I guess buy two of the same color. But other than that frustration, this is a solid mat.

This Sleeping Pad is made of great quality, easy to blow up, and that foam layer truly works, it’s super comfortable. I am using it to sleep on concrete floor during a mission trip, and its the best one i have found. It’s actually bigger and heavier than i thought it would be but i will make space for it.

The built-in inflatable pillow allows me to leave my real pillow at home!

This thing is crazy warm, although I would know what youre getting yourself into if you plan on taking it backpacking. Its big and pretty heavy. I recently took it in 25F weather and slept on the ground no problems. The pillow is a real plus. We hiked almost three miles into a steep valley and made it but man is this thing heavy for just a sleeping pad. It is very cost effective as opposed to other high r value sleeping pads that are much smaller, thats why I chose it as I didn't want to spend tons of money to get into backpacking at first. I have it strapped to the outside of an athletic backpack, no way it fits into any sort of backpacking bag. With my first pad It came with an air leak and would deflate slowly. Amazon gave me a full refund for it and the company sent me a new pad for free. Thats some customer service right there. Again just know its heavy and big and likely not fit for longer hikes, even though I manged to lug it almost three miles in and three miles out of a wet muddy valley with 500ft of elevation change.

so this is a really nice mat. I followed the instructions and inflated it fully for the first time. I then rolled it up and used the included compression straps to hold it. I then released it and opened the air valves again and it did indeed inflate really close to full. The mat is firm but I would think you could adjust that if you squish it and open the vales to release some air and then close agin. The pillow on it is nice and perfect for a side sleeper. It really kept me off the ground which will vibe great for the trail. The weight is heavier than air mats but the comfort is worhth the extra. I have had a couple air mats fail and are just not comfortable this is so much better. The material is thick and durable feeling. I was able to roll up the mat and then fold it in half and use the straps to get it to a small enough size to fit my sleeping bag compartment on my 85 liter Teton explore bag. Definitely recommend.

Nice pad. Air holes are a little big, makes it hard to blow up, especially the pillow part. Smaller than I thought, too, but I'm tall. I like it though. Perfect for what I needed it for. I like the snap feature. If I ever need to, I will buy another one.

This was super easy to assemble and pack up. The pillow is nice cause you can adjust to your liking by filling it with more air or less air. Great for camping trips and way better than an air mattress. Worth the price! I'll be getting another to attach to the one I got for my partner.

Really great sleeping mat we used for our camper. Worked brilliantly
