A non budget brand premium filiment and boy does it show!! Its amazing!!
This is a Brand Name Premium filament and it absolutely shows. It's not some junk stuff like elegoo or sunlu. It prints amazing in silk grey and silk gold which is a lighter gold not thst ornage gold. The spools were so beautifully rolled to assume no tangles. The flow is amazingly smooth and the shine is phenomenal. HIGHLY recommend with good silk settings and a decent printer. Its almost a perfect match to beaker and similar to bambu labs titan grey silk. If ur like me and use name brand stuff and habe zero issues cause you have a good printer you will love this brand.

Colors are amazing - Quality is solid, silks can take some dialing in of settings
I love Amolen’s colors, especially the Azure blue. Their gradients look fantastic on prints and add amazing dimension soon without post processing. You do need to make sure you dial in your print settings and play with supports depending on the model, but most silks need this attention. Once your settings are solid, the prints turn out gorgeous.

Stunning, Smooth Color Transitions with a Premium Metallic Finish
The AMOLEN Silk PLA Aged Brass Gradient filament completely transforms 3D prints from basic plastic toys into high-end, antique-looking art pieces. The unique color shifts across the spool offer a striking metallic luster that beautifully mimics weathered, historical metalwork, making it perfect for printing coins, armor pieces, vases, and detailed desk sculptures. Color & Finish Quality Aged Brass Luster: The silk finish delivers a deep, reflective sheen that does not look overly reflective or cheap. It has a convincing metallic depth that accentuates shadows and highlights on complex geometries. Gradient Transitions: The color changes smoothly and consistently throughout the spool. Unlike abrupt color changes, this gradient blends naturally over longer prints, giving larger models an authentic, multi-toned metallic patina. Printability & Performance Layer Line Hiding: The high reflectivity of the silk formula works brilliantly to mask visible layer lines. Even at standard layer heights, the finished surfaces look incredibly smooth and polished. Extrusion Consistency: With a strict ±0.02mm dimensional accuracy, the filament feeds flawlessly through the extruder. There are no sudden thin spots or bulges, ensuring a highly predictable and even flow across long print times. Bed Adhesion: It adheres exceptionally well to a heated PEI build plate. It shows virtually zero lifting or warping at the corners, which can often be a major pain point with lower-quality silk polymers. Spooling & Packaging Winding: The spool is wound evenly and neatly, meaning you can leave the printer running unattended overnight without worrying about cross-over tangles snapping the line. Vacuum Seal: It arrived perfectly dried and sealed in a thick vacuum bag with a fresh desiccant pack, resulting in zero sizzling, popping, or stringing right out of the box. Pros Beautiful, authentic aged brass metallic finish Smooth and gradual gradient color shifts Excellent at hiding layer lines naturally Consistent diameter prevents under-extrusion clogs Superb first-layer bed adhesion Cons Like most silk filaments, layer-to-layer bond strength is slightly weaker than standard PLA, making it better suited for decorative pieces than heavy functional parts. Final Verdict: AMOLEN has truly nailed the aesthetic formula with this Silk Aged Brass Gradient. It pairs flawless printability and tight tolerances with an incredibly premium, antique visual style. If you want your prints to look like heavy, crafted metal instead of 3D-printed plastic, this spool is an absolute must-have. Highly recommended!

It looks cool, fantastic in vase mode, but do NOT print a print in place dragon or the like.
Ill start off with what my printer is, its a Creality Ender 3 S1 Pro with 200C temp and 60C hotbed settings at 50mms. Ill start off with the Pro's Pros: It looks nice Its very flexible, and bendy, doesnt seem brittle at all and will tend to bend and not snap. Mild stringing even at high humidity. Excellent vase mode quality with excellent layer to layer adhesion (even on failed prints the layers stick to themselves very well). Now for the Cons: Dont print the articulated crystal dragon, ANY of them, or anything even LIKE it, EVER. If its a detailed print in place object, brim or no brim, adhesion layer, supports wont help. Just dont and ill explain why. One of the biggest issues ive had is when it needs to retract, now this could be mitigated if you dry it, but you can only do that so many times. What this filament wants to do is puff up, and it will want to do that inside the extruder which is not too much a problem if its constantly extruding. (which is why vase mode works perfectly). This filament prints large prints pretty well and really loves builds that have constant extrusion. It hates anything that requires a lot of retractions and replacements of filament. The deer head that is shown as the example is also funny enough a good example of what you should be printing with it. Ill put some final thoughts and keep in my I only had two filaments and this is one of them so far and this is my first printer. Bed Adhesion 3.5/5 doesnt like the first layer sometimes. Layer to Layer Adhesion 5/5 (it sticks to itself very well) water absorption 4/5 (like a sponge) Flexibility 5/5 (almost acts like flexible filament if its thin enough) Its finnicky, hard to dial in and sometimes does amazing prints and sometimes hates you.

Some kind of gunk mixed in the filament
This is the first time I've purchased Amolen filament. I've bought hundreds of rolls of other brand filaments and I've never seen anything like this. Didn't see this on the surface until it had been printing for a little while and the printer paused because of a SEVERE tangle. That's when I saw this gunky stuff mixed all inside the filament. It’s such a shame because the colors are very nice and I was really looking forward to trying Amolen filaments. I am returning to Amazon for a replacement. I'm hoping that it was just a fluke, otherwise, I will never purchase Amolen again. I'll update my review when I receive the new filament. UPDATE: Amazon sent a replacement roll of the filament. It printed perfectly and the colors are amazing! I’m so happy with it. Amolen reached out to me and are giving me a full refund for the original roll. I can’t wait to try other Amolen filaments!

Misleading Color
If Amazon allowed 0 stars or even negative stars, that’s what this filament would get. The actual color looks NOTHING like the listing photos. The advertised color is a bright shiny sakura pink, but the real printed result is a dull pastel pink with completely different tones. Huge difference. On top of that, the filament does NOT have the smooth glossy silk finish shown in the product pictures. The prints look much more matte and flat in real life. I specifically bought this because I was really excited for a beautiful silk pink color, and after spending SIX HOURS printing a project, the final result came out looking cheap and completely wrong. I was honestly so frustrated and speechless when I saw it finished. The product photos are seriously misleading. Either the pictures are heavily edited, or this is not even close to the same color being advertised. Avoid this filament if you actually want the color shown in the listing. Its waste of money, material, and time. Beware, beware, beware.

Beautiful filament.
This filament is beautiful, I've made dragons, and eagles with this filament. If I could give it a 10, I would. I'm running it fairly fast on my K1, and haven't had any issues with it. I've had no issues with tangling or breaking. It's very easy to use, I've been using a generic setting for PLA on my slicer, and it works great. The overall print quality is top notch.

Glow in the Dark !

Layer is splitting and also each of the string inside the layer.
I can pull string by string layer by layer (not only the first layer). I've tried to decrease the speed, higher and lower temp doesn't change a thing. I've tried value inside the range for this filament. I've also tried to dry it, doesn't change a thing. The first layer seems fine at first but it can be riped apart. This is the only brand that I have that does that. Won't buy anything from AMOLEN anymore.

Also mit Farbverlauf.
