LINKYO Compatible Toner Cartridges Replacement for Canon 128 (Black, 2-Pack)

Affordable option for toner. Worked in my Canon laser printer with no issues.

You never know what you're getting with the 3rd party print toner. I took a gamble with this brand and so far so good. The print quality and toner quality does not appear any inferior in comparison to the original Canon brand toner. And at about a quarter of the cost. The printing is crisp. The toner doesn't smudge on the paper, and there are no stray marks (which I've often found on the cheap bargain priced toners). So far, I've gone through 2 reams of paper, so over 1000 sheets, of random usual printing you would do at home (web pages, stuff for kid's homework and school, coupons, etc) and we haven't noticed any degradation in print quality or performance. The question is how long this toner will last compared to the Canon brand. It's rated to last 2100 pages, which is what the Canon brand also lists for expected life, but even if it comes up 500 pages short, it's still an amazing value compared to buying the name brand. I'm definitely buying more of this brand when I need a replacement.

My only experience with 3rd party replacement laser toner cartridges is with an HP printer. In that case the quality of the (naturally much less expensive) 3rd party replacement cartridges is variable. Sometimes they are so bad out of the box they're unusable. I have a Canon laser printer now, and when I purchased the Linkyo toner cartridge replacement I was prepared for the possibility of getting a lousy product. I was completely wrong, the Linkyo cartridge prints excellently (although I guess the printer gets some credit for that too). The price is very attractive, and you get two cartridges in the bargain for less than $30. I'm not too sure about the number of copies you can print with one cartridge. It's probably close to what Linkyo claims you get, but the printer doesn't have a counter so I'm not positive of the coverage. I'm sure I could get more copies if I could change the settings, but I haven't tried that yet. In any event, at the price for these cartridges I am very satisfied with the product whatever the actual number of copies the cartridge capable of printing. The copies are of very good quality and I would unhesitatingly recommend this product. I have purchased additional cartridges from the Linkyo, and the packaging is just as good as the packaging you get from an HP or Cannon with their original manufacturer's products. Linkyo delivers a value that exceeds expectations.

I haven't gone through a cartridge yet (probably won't for about a year given my printing output) so I can't say how many sheets I'll get out of it. I can say that the prints are great. I don't have any issues with text but I did print a test sheet that I got on the internet that has a couple of pictures and some patches of varying density grays when I first installed the cartridge. I had a fairly obvious light streak going through the print pattern. I took the cartridge out a couple of times and shook it. I printed 10 pages before the streak had diminished (but not gone away) and I was tired of wasting paper. I have since printed about 50 or so pages and there is no longer a light streak. I have great graytones, solid blacks etc. The only reason I'm still giving 4 stars is because of the first x number of pages that it took before that streak went away.

(Update Nov. 19, 2017) These Linkyo toner cartridges have been solid alternatives to pricey Canon 128 toner cartridges. No longer do I feel i'm throwing pennies away each time I'd rather read or edit on paper to get away from a computer. It's been 22 months since I started using them and only now do I need to re-order. (by the way, kudos to Motion Trend for its quick follow-up. They reached out to me a few days after the purchase to see how their product/customer service were performing. Let them know there were very light smudge running down right side of each page printed. They had new replacement cartridges to me in 2 days -- and I hadn't asked for any special treatment. I'm in the news business and my wife is in medical research so we generate a lot of printouts with our wi-fi-enabled Canon laser Imageclass 4880DW. We also fly, on average, weekly, so itineraries; so boarding passes and reservations for hotel, rental car and off-site airport parking --- which are toner intensive -- are part of our lives. These Linkyo replacement cartridges have worked flawlessly for our purposes. The convenience of Amazon vs. wasting time and fuel hunting these down in office supply and/or big box stores clicks with me.

These cartridges are not compatible with my Canon imageCLASS MF4770n. Don't waste your money. My return window has expired bc I did not need them at the time. Everytime I try to print, it jams with these cartridges. They are not able to print one piece of paper. Complete waste of money. The installation is not as smooth as a canon cartridge either. It seems to stick when you attempt to pull it out of the printer.

I have used these cartridges for my Canon MF4890dw for a number of years and they have preformed faultlessly. Good quality and excellent price. No problems with streaking at all.

I ordered this two-pack back in 2019, and today the first one finally ran out, nearly 5 years later. Granted, my printing needs are relatively light, but I do print from time to time, and this certainly gave good value for the money. Comes in good packaging, and the installation is straightforward. Will buy again when the second cartridge runs out, assuming my printer is still working!

Good quality and great product

I was worried that the quality of the print would not be the same as for an original canon toner but this one works perfect. Can't see the difference and it is way cheaper.
