I purchased this on December 15, 2021. This morning October 15, 2023, the rubber blade gear on the underside shredded while making my morning smoothie. I’m not too upset, because this thing has worked great and never leaked for almost 2 years. The blades may be a dull now, but it still fully chopped frozen fruit just fine. After looking at others and their reviews, I’ve decide to order this one again, as I trust it. I wish they’d make the blade gear and the motor gear in a stainless steel, but whatever. The ONLY drawback I have found is, sometimes, if you load this thing up with frozen stuff, it will jam up the blades and they won’t spin. You’ll need to take the cup off, and shake it a bit to separate the frozen stuff, then try again. I have found, with my morning smoothie, to blend my liquids with half the frozen fruit. Then take off and add the other half of the frozen fruit and blend. Works perfect with no jamming. One 6oz can of Dole Pineapple/Mango juice. 4 oz lite coconut milk. 5-6 medium frozen strawberries. One frozen banana. Blend. Or use only 3-4 medium frozen strawberries, half a frozen banana, and a handful of frozen blueberries.

Crushes ice in seconds! Only issue is sometimes ice gets stuck under the blades and it seizes. Just turn off and give it a wiggle to move cubes around. Definitely keep a hand on it when blending because it is powerful! Works great!
