First off Dr. Shamsuddin is to be commended not only creating the purest form of IP-6 but for backing his product with science and research. And the fact that the man personally responded to my emails and took the time to help me work out the best dosage for his product as well as educate me on the benefits is just remarkable. now as for my review well here it is.. My 6yr old special needs daughter was diagnosed with ALL in June of 09. and where she had Down Syndrome this was a potential dire situation. And as fate would have it it was. She did very poorly with the chemo and contracted RSV on the HEM/OC floor during nutrapina. Needles to say she ended up in the PICU and on a ventilator and then life support with talk of the ECMO[full body life support, does it all heart, kidney, lung, all the work.. and low success rate folks]. Well Christmas of 2010 was not a good time for my family.. Morgan died 7 times in a 48hr period and we were sure we would lose her. but she was a trooper and pulled out of it.. but cancer was not done with her and what should have been 9 months of treatments stretched out to just under 3 years with many close call's[far too many for me to even wish to recall].. Well by 2011 i had done enough research and witnessed enough suffering of my daughter to sit with the HEM/OC team and terminate treatments[she had about 4 months left]but the way the chemo was just killing her it could not continue[she went 43 days with an ANC of 0!!!!)so we went home and prayed a little [A LOT!]and tried to bring Morgan back to good health.. well it didn't really happen and her immune system could not recover.. it was devastating and heartbreaking to watch her suffer as she was.. And after seeing Immunologist and being told to wait for her system to recover we went back home and did just that.. well after 7 months and her getting pneumonia like 15 times it was clear to me that i had to act.. So i started searching and asking.. i believed in my very soul that we had to try a natural course.. man they were talking about using a different kind of chemo to boost her counts.. i was so upset at the Dr i just left.. And so began my trip in to natural health supplements and i came across this IP-6.. got the good Dr. Shamsuddin's book and educated myself on this wondrous supplement.. now 1st i test it on myself.. as i suffer from calcium oxalate kidney stones and IP-6 has been known to help i figured i could benefit too... maybe??[haven't had a stone since 3 weeks after i started by the way.. or the common cold !!! and its well over a year now]. So for about 2 months i took it and had no ill effects at all only good things were happening.. so it was time to try it on Morgan but how much to give her as she was only 8 yrs old... So i emailed the good Dr and he replied in less than 24hrs later, explained a dosage[told me this was not medical advice... smart man]and we started with Morgan.. now she had been having terrible CBC, counts were very low.. cancer/relapse was on the horizon.. she was in dire straits,, weighted less the 40 lbs and obviously struggling. i was pretty low i will tell ya.. About a month into IP-6 i started to notice weird stuff.. 1st off her finger and toe nails started falling off.. the whole nail folks.. not chipping or cracking.. but underneath was an almost full grown new nail[oh man it was creepy weird].. and then we go to our bi-monthly HEM/OC check up and she weighed in at 55 lbs!![i had not been monitoring weight at this time and my heart surged! then the CBC came back and though her counts were still low they were the highest they had been in 3 years!!!!! Well they said it was the chemo worn off and she was regenerating on her own[BS}..[chemo does not stay in the body that long folks we were a full year out of treatments] so i walked out of that office with Morgan in my arms and a tear in my eye as i knew we had hit on something big.. now it 2 years out of treatment Morgan has grown 4in and now weighs in at 70 lbs... she takes the good Dr.s IP-6 twice a day as well as a few other supplements to boost allergy protection and has had normal CBC's.. so THANK YOU Dr. Shamsuddin! for your product and taking the time to correspond with me while in a most desperate time.. you are a great man for all you have done and continue to do..

IP6 has a number of useful benefit, and I've been happy with this brand. Keep in mind that IP6 is a very powerful chelator of minerals, meaning that it will bind with iron, calcium and other minerals, preventing their absorption (in a manner similar to how antioxidants like tannins and polyphenols bind to minerals, like those found in coffee). This chelation process lowers the available IP6 as well as the minerals available for absorption. For this reason, the common recommendation is to take the IP6 2 hours away from mineral sources like a meal or mineral supplements.

If I was only allowed to take one supplement I would choose IP6 Gold. I have read both of Dr. Shamsuddin's (University of Maryland) books available on Amazon. I have read research papers from other prominent universities that back up Dr.Shamsuddin's extensive research. I have read testimonials from people who take IP6 and it has saved their lives. My husband is battling aggressive prostate cancer. He takes a much higher dose of IP6 as is recommended when one has cancer. He takes 12 capsules a day in 2 divided doses and on an empty stomach. It is not toxic and perfectly safe. My husband's doctor at Vanderbilt claims all alternative treatments are "bogus" and yet he was clearly stunned that my husband's symptoms are gone; he is not in a sick bed and is able to work. In fact, he feels really good. My husband WAS very sick and very frail. His skin was literally gray in color. He eyes looked shallow. He couldn't sleep through the night. He had all the other symptoms that go with prostate cancer. He literally looked like he was dying. Everything has changed. He has gained weight. His skin color is normal. He looks great. IP6 lessens the harmful effects of some traditional medicine such as chemotherapy. I am taking IP6 as prevention. You must take IP6 correctly if you want it to work! Dosage (depends on situation), timing, and empty stomach are crucial. My husband is taking other supplements I have carefully researched as well. Building up immune system and fighting inflammation is very important. For example, he takes Vitamin D3 with Vitimin K2 (MK-7 is an enhanced bioactive form of K2 and better absorbed). I would not take Vitimin K2 if I were taking a blood thinner. He takes Curcumin, Ginger, Saw Palmetto, Krill Oil, Baicalin, Turkey Tail and Reishi mushrooms, Lycopene, Pygeum ... He takes other herbs to keep his stress level down. I carefully studied what the safe and effective doses for all are. Some manufacturers doses are not enough to be effective. Amazon Prime has made our battle so much easier. I have spent hundreds of hours reading and researching. I have read countless medical studies and looked up medical terminology I still can't pronounce. IP6 is at the very top of our supplement list! Prayer, loving support, IP6 Gold, diet, and other scientifically backed supplements are, in my opinion, key when fighting cancer. I would encourage everyone to do a lot of research using credible sources before making any decision about treatments for cancer. I was stunned when I read a New York Times article that said cancer death rates have only dropped 5% from 1950 to 2005. Clearly, conventional medicine is not winning this war yet they belittle the highly educated, brilliant doctors and scientists who are open-minded and searching for the cure! Conventional doctors minds are almost always shut tight and they angrily refuse to even glance at what their peers have discovered. We have experienced this firsthand. I thank God for Dr. Shamsuddin and others like this brilliant and kind man.

The jury is still out on this one. It supports immunity that is supposed to help prevent and eliminate cancer. Both my 96 year old mother and I are taking it as a preventative, and I am also giving my cat 1 capsule a day on his food. My cat has been diagnosed with cancer in his ear and ear canal. I have been adding this to my cat's food for almost 2 weeks, and it looks much better. I have also been giving him Pet Wellbeing - Life Gold For Dogs and Cats - Natural Cancer Support For Dogs and Cats - 2 Ounce 59 Milliliter .5cc's twice a day. The sores in his ears are no longer bleeding and draining, and his ear is not reddened. I am hoping that we can eventually cure his cancer.

This was recommended to me from a herbalist for my dog. She was suffering from kidney and bladder issues causing her to leak spontaneously and not even know it. Recently, I researched many different alternative ways to help a family member who was shockingly diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma, a blood cancer. The oncologist of course will never agree with supplements. They are trained to give hard core pharmaceutical drugs. I did not want that. Sometimes the side effects create worse and more issues than the life threatening one you are trying to beat! It is expensive, but completely worth it. After only several months of taking this daily along with these other products, which I will list below, the cancer disappeared. It was a truly miracle to all of us and the doctors could not explain it, but I believe that these products greatly helped along with a change in diet (eliminate sugar and eat veggies). The other products that were taken in combination with this were, listed from most important to least taken were: Essiac, Modifilan, Source Naturals Immune Defense (mushrooms), liquid chlorophyll, Krill oil, Purple Defense, Momordica extract, Curcumin. Yes, I know it's a lot and you can never know for sure which one helped the most, but maybe the combination of them all did. I just wanted to list them so that others who might be in a similar situation, who are looking for cancer fighting products, can easily see what may work for them. I would recommend this to everyone. Wish I knew about this several years ago when my grandmother was dying from leukemia. Prayer and building your immune system is key. Be positive and live life to the fullest each day!
