I have dental issues. Are the soft to chew?

I too have dental issues. These are easy to chew and if they are not too cold the little chocolaty pieces will not be too hard. I say leave them out for a while to warm up if you have dental issues or even consider dunking quickly in a hot beverage.

Is this product vegetarian-friendly? Or are there some form of meat by-products involved?

IT DOESN'T APPEAR TO HAVE ANY MEAT, BUT Pure Protein Bars contain numerous ingredients that are not plant-based. Neither dairy nor gelatin is vegan-friendly products. They are, however, 100% gluten-free. HOPE THIS HELPS

Why are these made with sugar alcohol? Does the manufacturer make any bars that don't have the sugar alcohol?

I believe sugar alcohols come from the combining of the ingredients in the bars. Google sugar alcohols and you can read all the technical information and scientific facts about them.
