I am so glad I pulled the trigger on them. I am not new to audio, having had sophisticated stereo equipment dating back to the '80s. That being said, I reviewed quite a few more expensive options and these speakers were absolutely perfect for my bathroom project. I installed them in the ceiling and layered some insulation on top of them to force the music through the speakers and not allow the sound to get swallowed up in the attic. That alone provides the fullness and bottom end that some of the negative reviewers might be missing. They are clear and not muddled. There is no distortion at high volumes. I went into the audio equalizer on my phone and made some adjustments and they sound fabulous. There is even a little thump when I play Lil John, I am just tickled pink! The Bluetooth works great. There are two phones here and it appears that one of us has to disconnect to let the other in, but you don't have to pair them each time. I have it on a switched receptacle which disconnects it from the phone each time it's turned off. Anyway, I could not happier with this choice. Get you a pair while you can and do not bother playing them right out of the box on the kitchen countertop. That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard, pun intended. Install them, put some insulation on them, adjust your source EQ, and get ready to be surprised at how decent this product performs!

I really an so thrilled to have bought these and installed them myself. There's plenty of bass and mid. Treble is slightly lacking bc there's no tweeter, probably. But, lemme tell you, there's no distortion and the bluetooth built-in stays connected day after day to my Echo Show 5 which I use as my primary streaming device in the bedroom. I wish there was an easier way to switch input devices without having to unplug it for reset or go into the attic. That part kinda stinks. Or better yet, if it could pair to two different devices, say a TV and an Echo device, that would be stellar. But no such luck. For the price, they are fantastic, though. Side note, my walls and ceilings are plaster over lath board. After a grueling cutting session, the speakers fit just as the would if they were being clamped to drywall. Excellent fit. I put a large piece of batting insulation of the backside of the speakers in the attic to better insulate and direct the sound downwards. Worked wonders. Best of luck. Very premium looking addition to your home!

Build quality is good. Value is great....with a small tweak Installing and wiring the speakers was straight forward. HOWEVER, I ended up tossing the BT reciever that comes with the speakers. It's far too underpowered to enjoy the speakers and the range and bass is lackluster at best. But with a slightly bigger BT reciever with more power, these things woke up! I picked up FOSI powered BT reciever for 25 dollars that made these scream and thump. I'll be using these for two future projects. Great value.

Sounds great mounted in my hallow porch roof. Brings out the base. Directional tweeter is a great feature.

I bought these speakers to go in the ceiling on my back porch, I wanted simple Bluetooth speakers that I could control from my phone and didn’t require a receiver and these fit the bill! The sound quality is not great in comparison to a JBL or Bose speaker but it’s not awful at all however, I expected that for the price and I couldn’t find any “high end” speakers that didn’t require a receiver of some sort. Let’s get back to the sound quality of these speakers though, it’s pretty decent, there is no cracking or anything like that even when the volume is turned all the way up and they get pretty loud, I can hear them clearly in the back of my property which is about 150 yards from my house. I’ve had the speakers installed in the ceiling on my back porch since May 2019, we live in central Florida so humidity is a big deal and so far I’ve had no problems with them, they’ve been great, meeting and exceeding my expectations with almost daily use. As far as installation goes, I’m clueless as my husband installed them, he didn’t complain about them but he’s quite handy so I’m not sure how helpful that is. Overall, I highly recommend these speakers for the purpose!

I purchased these after seeing a top 10 ceiling mounted speaker article. They were out of stock in the UK and I needed them fairly quickly as I am having the kitchen refurbished and it was a great opportunity to put some speakers mounted into the ceiling and on top of that, being bluetooth, it was just what I needed. I found them on Amazon US and bought them as they shipped to UK. I knew that there would be voltage and plug issues but that was something that I had various adapters and low voltage points to cope well enough with. I cannot fault the delivery and they arrived before the expected date. At first glance they look huge, and this is mainly because the grill extends well beyond the cones. There was a brief instruction sheet which was more than adequate and there is a template on the box lid to cut out for mounting in the ceiling. They even include a tiny screwdriver for the wire block to connect into the bluetooth amplifier. So all is good so far. I then wired it up for a test prior to giving to the installer, unfortunately that was where it all started to disappoint. I connected my ipad via bluetooth and set some music going. It was a bass number with some mixed vocals and all I can say is I was more than underwhelmed I was quite annoyed as the sound wasn't just poor it was actually unbearable. This is the same music I had been playing moments before through my TV sound bar where it sounded immense. Unfortunately the bass was almost non-existent and the high end was so tinny it actually grated to a point where I had to turn it off. I tried different music sources, equaliser settings and aux as well as Bluetooth. The sound was equally poor in all cases. For 250w in each speaker and a pretty large cone for midrange and high end bass it was really bad. The tweeter was far to bright and it had the effect of making me think of nails down a blackboard. They are completely unfit for any large room and for anybody that is used to good sound systems. Really disappointed and am returning. I now need to find something that works and I won't be trusting any top ten lists. If you love your music and want an impressive sound solution I would avoid this product.

Fantastic speakers 3rd set l have purchased having no problems or issues with the speakers. My only disappointment with this last set ,was the incorrect power adaptor ( ie not correct Australian electrical plugs) had been put in the box .Which resulted in a 43 Km trip to a specialist electrical supplier and $11 for the new adaptor plug to get the speakers working . So l’m guessing that someone messed up with the region this order was going to regarding electrical plugs

Really nice speakers with great sound, straight forward installation. I found them a little weak on the bass so I downloaded a bass booster app to my phone . I would highly recommend these speakers at this price point.

Tried this out and was extremely dissapointed in the quality of the sound, and the bluetooth connection was unreliable.
