Overall it provides the function I was looking for. I needed something to get all the cords off my counter top. This winds up my charger nicely. The size was exactly as expected, you can see it compared to a basic charging box in the photo. Does seem slightly over priced for the function it serves, but it does come in a 2 pack. I wish it helped my cord lay a little more flush and not stick out. I think this would be more appropriate to use for traveling or keeping cords tangled free in your car or luggage. Which I think it is what it is intended for mostly.

Simple easy and effective. Ordered a different brand first and was disappointed. These are much better and work very well and as advertised.

This piece is a great way to stow your cords properly and efficiently. At first glance the material appears to be a hard plastic that would make it more durable yet far more difficult to gently work and stow your lines. For example, when cleating off the cord once it's wrapped a hard plastic would be more difficult to cleat off and potentially pinch the line. Instead, the material is a softer plastic, almost resembling a rigid rubber or silicone. This greatly facilitates gently, and effectively, winding and cleating the line. The design is ideal for line storage and the tie off cleats are intuitively placed. There are effectively four cleats on the outer edge, two on one side, and two on the other. They are juxtaposed ninety degrees from one another.

These are fiddly and not particularly good for everyday use. When I need one of my wired earbuds, I have to completely remove them from the Sidewinder as it just gets in the way when in use. When rewinding, compare their photos to mine. Every set of wired earbuds I have has controls hanging from the right ear. I've developed a method of winding that includes a little bridge for the controls. So, not as easy to use as I'd like. Now, to be fair, I knew this before I ordered them and if I'd taken a moment before hitting that buy button, I would have thought of the controls, too. But they are just fine for storage and I don't use wired earbuds much anymore. They aren't particularly protective on their own, but given that most wired earbuds are just shoved into a drawer, it's a much better solution.

These are great for short cables no longer than 1 ft and wired earbuds, have a convenient notch to hold the ends of earbuds. This makes finding/organizing my headphone wire, short usb c cable and earbuds easier amongst my desk clutter.
