Good little computer
The computer works fine. So far memory hasn't been a problem. When I'm done with files, I transfer them to a memory stick so as to keep the computer memory freed up. Using a cloud program also helps to manage memory. It surfs the internet just fine and streams videos well. The speakers are a little low in volume, but it works plenty loud enough on headphones and it pairs with my Bluetooth speaker just fine. It also pairs with my cell phone, and I can transfer files as well between them. I have Open Office loaded in along with a few other programs and it handles them fine. I've had Asus computers before and this works as well if not better than my regular sized Asus but more portable and the memory chips instead of hard drive makes it function quicker. The numeric mouse pad is a good idea, but if you forget to turn the number pad off it can cause problems when using it as a mouse pad. The only thing that I miss is that it cannot do alt. codes. I have to use the character map to get some of the foreign letters and special characters that I need to use once in a while. For basic use this is an excellent computer, good for the internet, and basic home, school or business functions.

Exactly what I needed
I only had a work computer for the last 13 years, and needed something basic while I look for my next job. I wanted to stream Netflix, Hulu, etc., email, online shopping, and general internet usage. The ASUS L210 does it all for me just fine. I notice that things don't load lightning-fast with the 4GB of ram, but I can watch YouTube and stream video content from the various platforms just fine. it came with a year of Microsoft 360 as well, which was nice to have. I haven't played with the touchscreen yet. The number pad is a bit of a gimmick. More in the way than useful. It's easy to turn the number pad on accidentally, then have to go back and turn it off so you can use the trackpad again. For the price, however, I'm happy to overlook that. I'd recommend this computer to anyone who needs the basics.

Good travel laptop for light use or for students
This is a good budget laptop for light use or for students. I've been using it for four years and it has suited my needs well. I use it mostly for basic tasks like surfing the internet, watching you tube videos, and presenting google slides as work. Pros: Very light weight so it's easy to carry in my tote bag on a daily basis, it has an HDMI port which I use a lot for my work, and it is priced affordably. Cons: Does not have very much storage, starts to run slow after 2-3 years of use. This little laptop lasted me for four years before it stared to run too slow for my needs. I will be upgrading to a newer one but I was very satisfied with the value I got from this one.

nice value
I love this laptop, except that I miss the "click bar", which Asus integrated into the touch pad. It's too easy to click the wrong thing if your finger slips on the touch pad when you try to enter something. However, I was able to compensate for that by taking a piece of 1&1/14 inch square double sided foam tape and put it at the bottom left corner of the touch pad. I don't remove the adhesive cover on the top. Now I can click without moving the cersor accidentally. I use this computer for my music (I'm an singer/entertainer) and it serves me well.

The 2021 Model Is A Setback From The 2020 - No Card Reader
This is a small 11.6" laptop that emulates the older netbooks that Asus used to market. The screen is quite good, and the HDMI connection works well for 1080p (4k is only possible at 30 frames). The include USB-C and USB-A ports work as expected and there are USB-A ports on both sides. 64 GB is enough to keep Windows 10 home up without outside interference, and getting out of S mode (which honestly one should do as there is no performance advantage outside of locking out registry entries) has no problems. This 2021 model does not have a card reader, so you are stuck with the 64 GB unless you can open the back and put in a relatively pricey (compared to the $200 cost of the device) NVMe. This is plainly terrible design given the price point and the usual intended use. The other issue is getting this to upgrade to Windows 11 is technically supported but the image that Asus put in crashes the upgrade. A clean install works fine with UEFI, but this is also irritating. The screws are also quite a pain. Although the service guide says that the screws are all Phillips 1, this is incorrect. The top 5 screws around the hinges are Phillips 1, but the bottom screws are Phillips 0. The Phillips 1 longer screws are of poor quality and were misthreaded into the chassis. Installing the NVMe takes a trip to the BIOS to ename PCIE, and then to Drive Management to assign a drive number. Support is an issue. Contacting Asus with a case number, they failed to identify the screws or the issues with the BIOS as well as repeated the misquote that this model has a microSD card reader. The lack of a card reader which is quite necessary in a budget laptop combined with the fact that the previous model year had this with the exact same motherboard and processor makes the 2021 model a poor value proposition for a Windows 10 S laptop. To get this functional, I had to put in much more work as the 2021 model uses lower quality parts and is missing features that the 2020 model has. I still need to figure out what to do with the misthreaded screws, but fortunately the chassis closes properly. Asus took the goodwill from the solid 2020 build and reduced the functionality which is terrible given the price remained the same. Update: 11-April-2022 Just went through quite the gauntlet for their customer service process. The baseboard can be repaired at my cost to ship (which was a manufacturer defect from poor screws in the first place). This turned out to be at best a below average purchase with what should have been a grab and go basic browsing machine.

Great for what I needed it for
I have 2 PC workstations that I work from in my home offices but I wanted a small, lightweight laptop to take with me to the library (where I do book editing). I often use this when I work from my dining room table so I can keep an eye on football games on the weekend. I will likely keep it in S-mode, which has worked just fine for me so far. The number pad has not been a nuisance at all, although having the delete key right next to the power on/off button did lead to some accidents where I turned off the computer by mistake (I solved that issue by putting a tiny red dot sticky on the delete key). On the whole, I'm very pleased with it.

Not everything is accurate or fully described
It is worth the money for sure but know what you read on here is not entirely accurate & even contradicts itself. One person wrote in the Q&A that is has a micro-sd slot, it does not- so I have no clue what that person is talking about. In the listed things it has it contradicts itself from that to the written ad- There are 2 USB ports total- apparently one is 3.0 & one is 2.0 (in the listed ports it says it has two 3.0 ports & one 2.0 USB port, so it contradicts itself.. it DEFINITELY only has one 3.0 USB)- you are never going to get that speed on a laptop where most of the hard drive is already taken up when you boot it up combined with 4 memory- with apps it will not allow you to delete. If you purchase this, I highly suggest you also buy an external hard drive bc there is NO SPACE on the hard drive. Also, don't be too excited about Microsoft office- you CAN'T use it unless you are willing to have it ALL backed up to your cloud.. so if you write any sensitive documents or docs you dont mind the whole world sees bc it is online & can so easily be hacked- I mean there is no point google offers the same thing for free w googledocs & it does not expire in a year... so I was VERY dissapointed that I CAN'T do anything on it wo having it all backed up online. And if you want to add any software or hardware you are going to have to download it from online. I purchased this to have a PC & I do not see how it is ANY different than a chromebook. I wanted to be able to do things offline with it & CAN'T. You are downloading apps just like on a chromebook which is what i was trying to stay away from. I have 4 chromebooks already & never would have purchased this had I known these things so I hope this is helpful to anyone who was looking for what I was- a PC not something that requires the Internet for any and everything and is just apps like a phone is. I really wanted this for data transfer & to securely open files wo someone able to hack in.. it is NOT good for that, but if that does not concern you, then it is a fine for you just buy an external hard drive simultaneously- there is NO hard drive space.

A great little computer
Great little computer for the price. Although the storage is relatively small (57gig) that can easily be expanded via a new internal or external SSD for a small investment. This little guy has all of the necessary ports (2 USB, I USBC, and HDMI. I was particularly amazed that it was advertised as coming with WINDOWS 10 Home S and I found that it actually has Windows 11 home S. I’m an avid Apple macOS fan, and I swear by the Apple product line, however, I needed a Windows based computer for work since the software for the Mac that remotes me into work suddenly stopped working in dual monitor mode I found I needed to purchase a Windows computer. So far i am very happy with this little guy.
