But forget why I bought it. Here's why people who really need a good lab coat should buy it. My character lives in a hospital in Hell, so she's been exposed to fire, ash, and blood. Here's how that applies to you: It took me many days of trying with dyes, coffee, chocolate, mud, charcoal, graphite, tea, liquid smoke, and fake blood to actually get this thing to take on stains. The fake blood is the worst. Those keep fading to nothing, and if they get a little wet they wash off. Nothing just splattered on will stain it. It has to be soaked for days. On the bright side, my coat smells like cocoa and coffee. Fire? Oh no. This thing REFUSES TO CATCH FIRE. I had to spend 90 minutes with a lighter just to get little scorch marks on the front. It only actually burned in places where I had torn it with scissors to give some of the edges a worn look. More on that in a sec. The most important thing to know right now, is the coat now smells like coffee, cocoa, and roasted marshmallows. Back to tearing it. Um... This coat DID NOT VOLUNTEER TO BE TORN! It was very hard to give it the battle damage it needed. The seams are well done, and the hems are incredibly durable. There are inside pockets, and outside pockets. I can hide so much Halloween candy in this coat. What's the final judgement? Liquids bead up and slip off like they were never there, and even fire is repelled as if by a supernatural force. If you actually need a real lab coat that fits well, looks good, is constructed well, and will keep you safe from chemicals and fires, this is the one. It's a Hell of a lab coat! Review: Buy it! - I rarely write reviews, but I felt inclined to do so for this purchase in hopes it might help others. I bought this under my husbands prime account, but I am a 5’8 and weigh 168 female. I wear a medium in tops and depending on the brand/cut I wear a medium-large bottoms as I am a size 8-10. I got the 34inch women’s junior size medium and it fits perfectly for what I wanted. It isn’t fitted by any means, because I plan to wear it working in the clinic and will be wearing it open with business casual underneath. I was going more for function than sex appeal. It has big deal pockets that can easily hold my stethoscope and my pocket guide for looking up stuff quickly (I am a NP student in clinical). I was very hesitant to buy this online as I wasn’t sure of the quality and lots of reviews kept saying it ran a size way too big. But the quality is great, not cheap fabric. It is from the same maker as the greys anatomy one, but a fraction of the cost. I will probably get a few more to have in rotation.

A Little to Big!
I ordered a small and I am 5' 3.5" and 123lb (I wear a size 3). I thought this jacket is a little to loose on me. I wanted the jacket to fit me like the model in the picture (like a princes cut). However, because it was so loose it didn't give me the more fitted look (especially in the waist area). I didn't want the jacket to be tight fitting I just wanted it to be a more slimming fit. I think if I ordered a extra small it would have the fit I was looking for with plenty of wiggle room. If you are wondering how it fits in the bust area I am a 34B and there is lots of room left the first button starts just below your breast so there is no pulling. The pockets are really deep (about 12 inches deep)! I needed this jacket for a dietetic internship and a class this jacket does the job. The quality is nice, the material is thick so you can't see through it and is built to last. It washes up nice as well, I have gotten a few stain on it and they have come out easily so far. Their is no ironing needed!

Big girl great jacket
This jacket fits well, I am 190 and 5'6 the XL fits perfect. The back has a strap but it doesn't tighten or loosen the jacket. The length is great for what I wanted not to long not to short but still professional. I am able to button the jacket shut with room. I am adding this come t because I am full breasted and have a stomach (38 DDD) and biggest part of my waist measures 42". The material is stiff but not to stiff I imagine it with soften up after I wash it. I like the way it hangs and is very comfortable. Pockets are large enough for a tablet. And at a good distance with arm length. The sleeves are a tad long I rolled them up about and inch and one half. My arm length from shoulder to wrist is 23 1/2". Great jacket hope you find this helpful.

Pics!! Sleeves are long, has 2 large inside pockets
Sturdy fabric, not too stiff. Pleased with the fit. I’m 5’6” 160# I have long arms and torso, my dress size 10ish. I bought a large (medium might be fine if I were always wearing lightweight clothing) based on reviews and took pics below with a bulky sweatshirt on since I will wear sweaters under it for much of the year. (It’s often cold here). The sleeves were actually long enough and I bent my knee in one pic so you can get a feel for how low it falls on an avg height person. It has 5 pockets, 2 are on the inside of the coat positioned behind the large outside pockets, and the inside pockets are only a tad smaller than the outside pockets. It seemed to have a very slight pink tinge but it must be the bathroom lighting, because in the photo below I placed a piece of white paper in the middle and I don’t see any pink in comparison.

Beautiful but too tight in the shoulders
Followed the reviewers' advice and bought a size smaller than what I usually wear. I am 5"4' and 140 lbs. I usually wear Small. Bought XS and the coat was too tight. Exchanged it for S and the coat fit me okay but it was too tight in the shoulders if I moved my arms. It IS a beautiful coat that is well made. Maybe it's the Junior fit that didn't work for me. I had to return it. They didn't have a M available, so I went with a different brand.

The material is thick and holds its shape and a crisp line. It has large pockets that can hold a notepad and more. It is not as tapered at the waist as the pic looks. You’ll be thankful for that room if you’re wearing a sweater or layers underneath. Im 5’3, 115lb with an athletic build and size small fit me perfectly without restricting arm movement even with a sweater on. The sleeve length was also not too long as many “petite” women often encounter.

This labcoat is perfect. I can carry everything I need in the pockets. It looks good and the fabric wears well.
