Q: I am left handed and like to use the fence on the left side of the blade, what drawbacks or concerns will be encountered in doing so?

this milescraft item can be used left or right handed. using a fence on the left side of the blade will allow less usable area of your table saw top and all measurements on the measuring scale of the fence will be worthless to you.

Q: Does anyone find this to be kinda cumbersome to use?

Yes. This is the complex pusher for when all the other pushers won't work.

Q: Can it be used for dado cuts on the table saw

Yes, it can but your dado will have blade grooves that need to be sanded or chiseled smooth. Typical saw blades don’t cut flat bottoms. Also if you have to cut multiple dadoes it will take some time to reposition the fence for each cut.
