So far, so good
First off, having read the reviews and color issues folks had with 98QBP0302 (Snow White), I opted for this one, the Pearl White. Well, my mistake. That's not to say that the snow white would have been correct, but it likely would have been closer to correct. If the inside of your microwave is any shade of white, then get 98QBP0302 (Snow White). This Pearl White color is what I would describe as bone, sand, or beige - it is even darker than almond. So, that being said about color matching, I was more interested in how well this spray paint would resolve some of the issues developing with our 8 year old microwave. Yes, at 8 years, it's probably time to just replace it. However, there is nothing mechanically wrong with the unit. It works well, it's a great size, it is powerful, and the outside looks practically new. However, for some time now, the vent gratings on the top inside had the enamel come off and the bare metal was showing/rusting. The remainder of the inside top was also showing signs of discoloring that would not come clean. There was also a chip in the enamel on the inside base under the turntable. I first gave the inside a good cleaning. Then I used a wire brush on the caked rust on the vent gratings and vacuumed out the rust chips/dust. Before spraying, I covered and taped off all other areas. When you spray, it is going to create vapors throughout the inside, so anything you don't want to get hit with over spray, cover and tape it. Better too much cover than too little. It's also probably a good idea to wear a mask when spraying as the fumes are pretty strong. I took heed with the instructions to spray lightly. It is best to do multiple light coats than too much, which will cause the spray to liquify, pool, and run. Lightly spray, air it out to dry a bit, lightly spray more. Take your time - do many, many light coats and the results look really wonderful. When you think you're done, wait a bit, and then do one more light coat. The 6 ounce can goes a very long way. With each light coat I did, I then put a box fan in front of it for a few minutes, then came back to do the next light coating. I did the entire top of the inside of the microwave, getting both vent gratings and everything that was discolored. It looks nice and clean now. I then uncovered the chip in the bottom. When I first sprayed the chip, it began to make the enamel around it bubble and come off. I cleaned off what I had sprayed, and then used some steel wool to better smooth the area around the chip. I then washed/dried it, then used some rubbing alcohol to clean/dry more. Now when I sprayed, it was sticking and not affecting the area around the chip. I did a bunch more light coats, again drying with the box fan between each. All was good. After I was done with the spraying, I then left the box fan blowing in to it for another couple hours. I then moved it from the garage back into the kitchen and let it sit overnight with the door open. This morning, I plugged it in, did some cooking in it, and everything seems well. The inside of my microwave is now two-tone, but who cares? We'll see in time how durable it is. If necessary, I'll use the remaining paint to touch up any areas that need it. I'm hoping to just get another few years out of the microwave, then will replace.

Works great
My microwave is only 3 years old and the inside enamel was peeling and rusting off. I donโt want to replace the entire unit (itโs above the stove and a pain plus expensive) so we ordered this not having much hope. We sanded the entire inside down first after throughly cleaning with high grit sandpaper. This took a few hours. This is a must. Then I put multiple layers of this enamel inside and made sure to follow the instructions on the bottle. I waited 48 hours instead of the suggested 24 hours for use and did leave the microwave open to air out as it does leave a smell. The inside looks new again and has held up for the last six weeks. I am impressed.

Not white... but did the job!
I didn't do a test spray... I just went for it... and realized this is OFF WHITE... NOT white. I NEEDED white. This matched my other microwave insides... but the white one I specifically purchased this spray for did not match. It was too late though... microwave inside was scraped, sanded, taped, outside, and already sprayed- even if just briefly... so I went with it. I REALLY super wish it had been white; and am mostly upset with myself for not testing it and realizing the difference. The Hello Kitty microwave I was refinishing was in ROUGH condition. We bought used... I hadn't been letting my daughter use it, it was so bad.... what does rust in a microwave do to the food??? How does rust get IN a microwave anyhow?? It took one entire can to spray over my sanding... AAAANNNNND to spray EVERY other white surface on the inside so that it matched the new off-white/cream/light almond color this paint is. I did several spray over/coats to the sanded areas and one good thick coat over the rest. There were a couple of drips. I waited for them to dry, sanded, and resprayed and it covered it fine. It's done, refinished, I put in a new microwave cardboard, prevents sparks, kinda silvery thingy (definitely a technical term!) in it and we have since used it... I did do a quick "clean" with soapy water on high for several minutes and wiped it down to ensure the paint was actually water & steam proof, microwave proof (how do you actually prove the paint is microwave/people safe??) etc. All looks good, no problems, and coverage (even though not a true white) was pretty spectacular considering the affordability of this item! I would absolutely recommend this product, as far as durability, value, and ease... but would warn to do a color check before hand, IF that is important to the user! It is a GREAT way to restore a microwave rather than buying new.

Really great results!
Our GE Profile oven/microwave wall unit began peeling, flaking and rusting, which concerned us about paint chips falling into our food. I tore the microwave out and painted it outside because I didn't want to fill the house with paint fumes. I used a paint scraper, wire brush, 100 grit sandpaper, then 220 and 320 to prepare the surface. Finally, I wiped it all down with mineral spirits, and masked the vent areas, as I didn't want to have paint mist messing the sensors and light within. I sprayed three or four coats of light spray to make sure there was no dripping. Each coat dried in about five minutes, and I immediately resprayed. The finished surface is beautiful and looks close to new. It's got a slightly rougher texture than original, but that's okay, and the color doesn't perfectly match GE's, but careful masking of the vents to make them look like they're designed to be different did the trick. Photos of after and before are included, but the before doesn't show how bad the microwave floor was rusted. It's only been two days, and there's a very slight fresh paint odor, but that doesn't affect the food which is only in the microwave for a minute or so. Take your time, and it should be great!

Great Product! Gets the job done if you apply it properly!
Gets the job done if you use it properly! The product arrived on time and it was properly protected inside a sealed plastic bag and wrapped with shipping paper. The Date Code was visible and the product was as a few months old. My Microwave was sanded properly and everything was covered properly around the Microwave and the Cabinets. Now please read: I shook it as per instructions and I applied small coats of spray (11 of them to be precise) waiting 5-6 minutes between each coat! I kept on shaking the can between each coat! I waited almost a week before I even turned the Microwave on! Also, I need to tell you, the power to the Microwave was off during the prep and painting time! Did it take time to do? Yes, it did! I just turned the Microwave On, and it worked perfectly! All together sanding, masking, covering, spray painting, and cleaning up close to Four (4) hours or so. Either these hours and less that $20 in the spray can or $6,500 or so for a Microwave and Oven Combo! Great Product and I recommend it!

Works well with Instructions
First, the cans were larger with plenty of paint. I did a thorough job of scraping, cleaning any residue, and sanding with very fine sandpaper, and then, taping areas off, the paint went on very smoothly. But, the disappointment,* the color was not white to match... it was a cream color, so unless you sprayed the entire inside, you could see the difference. I did not go thru all this plus pay price of paint to have two different colors. However, after using my microwave many times since, it seems to be looking clean, fresh, and safe. I do wish I could have lifted it outside to spray, because it did really smell bad. I must say I have a very good perfect big sized microwave that worked great except chipping paint, and I did not want to replace it.

Glad I went with PEARL WHITE on my GE Oven Microwave Combination Oven
I, like other reviewers, was torn on which white to get. My suggestion is that if you look inside your oven and you think, ''YES! That is absolutely bright white!'' then go with snow white. If you think anything like, ''Ugh...I am thinking this is probably off white''' then go with pearl white which is less stark apparently than snow white. My microwave is a GE appliance. It is the dual microwave on top, oven on the bottom unit. This has to be at least 10 years old, probably more. My microwave has been peeling like hell for years and finally I searched for a solution on Amazon and found this. Thank God I found this! I am no professional, but it doesn't look like I missed any spots and my interior microwave is not two toned like I missed spots. I had some paint left over at the end in case I find some. The paint dries fast enough for you to be able to lightly spray and spray again. I do recommend scrapping off all the old paint, sanding, and cleaning extremely well before painting. You will also want to take off the vents inside and any holes. Once you get a basic coat down, take the tape off and lightly spray the vent (holes) area. You don't want to spray inside cuz you'll hit fans or the light or whatever. I even did the outside front of the microwave and it blended very well. I wish I did this years ago!!! I attached my before and after. The before is actually after we scraped it down so it looks even worse than our true before, but I forgot to get a before picture until that moment. Man, the before and after is so exciting! I am going to get as many years as humanly possible out of this girl!

A new old one!
I have a very old but still working microwave. It was not usable because the paint inside started to lift. So this paint made it like a brand new one/still old.

Precio y calidad
Es uno de los pocos productos que sirven para pintar el interior del horno de microondas. Es exelente, lo malo es que solo hay en blanco

Excellent product. We recommend it.
PERFECT! Clear instructions for use Our microwave was patched by rust. First, we thoroughly cleaned the cavity before applying this paint , using sand paper 200 (utube videos were helpful). After that, we applied three very thin coats of paint, allowing each coat to cure for 12 hours, as instructed, the microwave door wide open. We then waited 24 hours before using it. Our microwave looks like new and works perfectly now. Several days of normal use and the paint is not cracking or bubbling (that's why thin layers are preferable to a single thick layer). The pearl white color is not really white. Therefore, the difference in color is visible but not unbearable and it allows those previously rusty dark spots to be masked while covering them with thin layers of paint. It seems that this satin cool white color is intentionally chosen; it is not a flaw.
