For when your hose springs a leak
These pool hoses are a consumable in the end, but this hose attached properly to the discharge port of the filter and connected to the valve that leads to the pool jets just fine, no issues. Didn't even need to redo the teflon tape the last hose needed to avoid leakage, so it's got that going for it, too. And now that one hose is replaced, I've got a spare should it or the inlet side of the filter pump spring a leak. Overall, the right connection, the right length, and just as (in)flexible as the ones they replaced.

Fits 1.5 inch Intex perfectly
Works great. Needed an extra 1.5" intex-compatible tube for directing the backwash of the sand filter. Easy to screw in, fits perfectly. No visible degradation or weakening in the plastic tubing after sitting in high UV New Mexican sunlight in 90+ degree Fahrenheit weather for the last three months.

hoses fit correctly but expensive
I was happy those hoses fit my pool pump but I went on the Intex site in the US and they sell the same hoses for about $5 each. I know prices in Canada are going to be a bit more than US but how something that sells for $10 (2 hoses) translates to over $70 in Canada is a bit excessive even accounting for shipping. These are just plastic hoses, nothing high tech. Having said that this seller was the best price I could find from Canada.

Intex - waste of money overall
this product itself is fine, the Intex steel frame pool, a waste of money. within a year, the legs would have corroded, and you will find yourself looking for spares which you cannot find, or you just end up buying a new pool entirely. Above ground steel frame pools, waste of money, don’t bother with them.
