The battery last pretty long.
I love this toy it's fun I used to have it but it broke I would recommend this toy for kids and I got sick one day but I would always enjoy playing with this!

The nostalgia. The commitment. The beeping. It brings back the best time of my childhood.
Tamagotchis hold a special place in my heart—I was obsessed! Though, I must admit, my obsession led to a funny incident with my parents getting fed up with the beeping and, well, let's just say my Tamagotchi had an unexpected adventure. I had hoped to pass on the Tamagotchi love to my niece for Christmas, but she's a bit too young for the responsibility. So, i had to send it back to amazon for now, waiting for the perfect moment in a few years when she's ready for the digital pet experience. In the meantime, I can't help but feel that inevitable pull—I'll probably end up getting another one for myself someday. After all, nostalgia is a powerful thing!

This clearly states new gen - even on the packaging.. If you thought for even five seconds this seller was going to hop ina time machine and mail you a Japanese toy from the 90s???? That’s a you problem 😂😅 anyways this thing is adorable! Can’t wait to receive mine :)

Exactly what expected
It is exactly what expected. What an obnoxious toy. Got it for my 9 year old and after a few hours she asked me to take it back! It constantly nags the children to do something with the digital pet. There is no way to stop it but turning it off which defies the purpose of it. Don't buy it, it will depend 24h on you, a lot more than a real pet without giving anything in return.

I bought this it glitches out after a few months of use it didn't reset properly and it seemed to die quickly I would pay the extra bucks to get an actual tamagotchi

La entrega fue super rápida y el producto llego en perfectas condiciones. Caja sellada y producto en muy buen estado, es exactamente igual al de los 90's . Todo un clásico para los chicos y grandes. Me funcionó perfectamente y el sonido es lo bastante altomo como para saber que la mascota necesita atención. Definitivamente lo compraría otra vez, lo recomiendo totalmente.
